  1. Thanks, its a 10" i guess you would say aero port tuned at 31hz. And yes thats the T1000bd. The Sundowns are laughing at that amp at 1ohm!
  2. Took a couple pics of my system after putting in the new box and subs. Box will be getting painted soon. I will also be taking out the bottom seat rest and building a floor for the box and sealing off the trunk later. Its coming together!! Dont give me too much crap about my wires. This is all temporary untill I get all the little things wrapped up and taken care of. UNDER CONSTRUCTION My link Sorry for the shitty vid quality. The first one is from my android and the second is an old digital camera. You know its bad when your phone takes better vids
  3. Will do, and thanks again man!! It seriously hits harder and lower than I ever imagined.
  4. Thanks man! Itll probably be a spray paint job for now. And that might have to wait a week till I feel like pulling this beast out again.
  5. Built a box for my Sundown SA-15s today. It is 5.8 cu ft with a 10" aero port tuned at 31hz. Heres a couple pics of it while I was building it. Just thought Id show it off a little bit. Keep in mind this is only the SECOND box ive ever built. And also wanted to give a shout out to BASSRACE for helping me with the design. Your a solid guy in my book, not many people would have taken the time out of their day to actually punch numbers in for me to get the volume and tuning I desired. Especially considering the number of posts I have at the moment. This thing freakin slams lows, and hits hard all the way up to about 50hz. Im running a Rockford T1000bd to it at 1ohm. Probably about 600rms per sub. The sundowns are laughing and pointing at the power, I can tell they want more. My friends had no faith in this design. But when I cranked it up they were pretty impressed with how much air it moves in my little corolla. Ill post more pics of it in my car tmrw and maybe a vid too.
  6. I had a 15 in a in a spec box that was tuned low and it really blew my mind. Thing got low as hell and still hit high notes with authority.
  7. I think the outside diameter is just over ten inches. Its all good, built the box today with my original measurements, and omg it hits so freakin low. THANKS FOR THE DESIGN BASSRACE!!!
  8. Before I get yelled at, Ive tried downloading the torres box calculator and my computer is a pos and it doesnt work no matter what I do. So.... My original plan was a box 40w20h20d with a single 10" aero port at 27" long to achieve 31hz tuning around 6 cubes for my sa-15s. Looking at that design I was not sure if the subs would mount without touching the port inside the box so I cut it a little bigger to be safe. The box has not been put together yet, but the dimensions for it now are 40w24h20d. Ive used a few differnt methods to figure out my cubic ft and im coming up with 9.6 which is way too much. So to solve my dilema I need to first figure out if this is correct. And secondly I need to figure out how many cubes my 10" aero port is taking up. If I cant figure this out I will be doing better measurements in the morning to see if my original design will work. Thanks for any input on this.
  9. Yes that's exactly what I'm doing. With the port blowing into the trunk through the huge gap left from removing the seat.
  10. Sorry if I confused you, I plan to have the subs in the backseat. With my amps in the trunk. And I'm only going to be putting probably a lil over 1000 end plus my 4 channel so a hart or two should be alright for now. So with the subs in The backseat would subs up and port facing back sound the best?
