  1. I guess after 35 views and no replies I should assume either everyone hates speaker grills, doesn't know what a speaker grill is, or doesn't know how to use the forum. Lmao.. I will just cover them with sticks.

I personally like no grilles if the wrap job is nice.

Sticks are cool too though, manzanita and redwood are the best.

Yeah, the reason I want some grills is Blue LEDs are going in above the speakers (better glow inside grills) and to cover the dust caps from getting damaged.

The sticks are about to be a go.. Lmao can't find any 8" covers that look good.

  2. Just put my door panels back on last night, they still need a little work and not yet wrapped. They sound quite amazing despite the 4 channel MB Quarts amp being set to the old Infinity double tweets and 6"s I had in the doors. I will post another one after the amp is set and they are wrapped. :5shots:

If anyone has any suggestions on what kind / type of speaker grills I should use for the 8" speakers please let me know. I am having a hard time finding some that I am happy with. I am leaning towards the traditional mesh style. Just need a good website to browse.

  3. so after you made the mold you fiberglassed the mold to your door? how would you get the fiberglass off if you wanted to maintain the factory look of the rest of the door panel? always confused me lol

Most door panels require a lot of cutting before and after making the mold / cut outs

for the door. There really is no going back,

just more glass or different types of molds if you get tired or don't like the first.

  5. thats a bad ass blazer..i didnt know they were still making those specific models as recently as 2004

Ohh, and yeah. Chevy Blazer went to Trailblazers in 04' last year they made them made them as far as I know. I was lucky to find an xtreme addition with only one owner 71,000 miles. It was stock when I bought it little over a year ago. Most I saw when looking were owned by 10+ people all kids that ragged them out at over 150,000+ miles.

Most info filled sig of the year^^^^ lol :drinks:

    Lmao :drinks:

You can never have too much information :)

  6. I love your build man. Nice flex on those 2 Skars! Sick Power!

I only have a RF2000.1BD on all four of my Skars, just have not had the time to build my Amp rack to install the second amp. I have decided to just wait to install it after I do my wall with 6 Skar 15's. 3 15's on each amp in a Clam-shell enclosure. But I may try one of the new Skar 4500.1s out. I haven't decided yet. Also, still kinda thinking about going with a different enclosure with those 15's just leaning towards that Clam-shell.

Question(s): You use a aero port correct? Where did you buy yours? I have been looking around for a place good on prices and selection for some of my installs.

Also, You are anyone that reads this for that matter.. Have any good car audio tracks you would be willing to send out or trade. I have a nice selection of Decaf and more. I have been looking for more. Hard to find people with a good set of tracks.

Thanks man, and keep up the good work! :friends:

Thanks! and as Kevin said.. I do have a lot of time into it, and it's still a work in progress. I am proud to say most to all the work was done by me. :) It has been a task getting ready for a few shows this coming year, with full-time work 40+ hours as a Store manager, close to full-time school and managing a small car audio install business on the side. I mostly work on it after work and school till the "am" at night. But it's coming together.

It's what I love to do, and a fun hobby for me.

Hopefully after school is done with, I can make it more of a full time thing.
