It's probably just the camera, but it looked like they were out of phase. Iunno, but nice setup, looks really clean

Actually had the same amp like 3 or 4 years ago. It always would hit alot quieter after heavy bass notes and then go back to playing normally. Apparently it's not all too uncommon.

^ yep. Crutchfield or sonicelectronix has a vehicle selection page that tells you the stock sizes of your speakers.

Through a Temp agency, fairly easy for them to find you a job.
x2 on the volunteer work, my dad always used the saying "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" i.e., if they dont call you, call them and let them know how interested you are in a position.
Dress the part for an interview, but don't over do it.

no way in hell you have a whole cubic foot of bracing in there... even if you do... i'm not sure why you need all that bracing. the most i usually use in a box is .2 cubes.
i guess nothing you can do about it now. GL with your box!
I'm actually glad to see this, I usually put .15 in as a little reference point, I put in 1cube for bracing because i thought I mightve messed up somewhere, and only got like 8.3 is my suv heh

Grazie!

What're the gross and net cubes of this thing? Curious as the Escape's cargo area looked a little small to me, and I've got an explorer I'm putting hdc3 15's in and around the same tuning, but with a slightly larger box for them I'm guessing.

Burlington, also!

I HATE how the damn back seats are angled If you have a 2nd/3rd gen you should be able to go 41 wide though, not that that info will help very much
lol yea i can go 41, but i wanted to be able to get her in there
Oh no, now you got my paranoid about my upcoming box Dims, haha. Welp, off to double check i can clear 41'' through the hatch opening....

To describe how hot it is i would (if i had to) be ok with putting my balls on it
This is possibly the best description for the level of hotness of something, ever.
Sig-worthy, man.

Depends on what your running. If you have more wire I'd do 2 Runs of 1/0 to be safe. Thats what Im doing. 1/0 ga is usually good for 170 amps and 4/0 is good for 260 amps. 2 runs of 1/0 would be ideal. I had 1 run of 1/0 with my 270 amp alt and it was fine but another run could'nt hurt.
Isn't 1/0 OFC good for 300-350?

Maybe I'm a noob when it comes to electrical demands, but even with a battery bank like that, if you play full tilt long enough, you'll eventually drop lower. Since your batteries only serve as a reserve for your alt to charge.
But I feel for ya man, Got a 4.0 Explorer and what I'd do for dual alts......(without giving up my A/C!)

because when setting amp with 50hz tone sine wave does not change. however when paying music it goes up and down a lot to the point where it can exceed it limit (clip) if set with 0db track.
This seems a bit misleading, 0dB will be safer to tune at than -5 or -10.
-
So honestly i Really need to know..(sorry for the jack).is the aq 15hdc a better sub than lets say zcon 15.... For daily use?..... Honest not bias opinion needed...
Not to seem rude, but no vs threads, and on top of a major threadjacking
-
Songs aren't a certain dB, you can set it to -5 and be good on a huge majority of music, set it at 0db if you're paranoid, but most music is recorded quiet enough with -5 it will be more than fine. And the advantage of -5 over 0 is...you'll be louder, yo!
Sooooo many threads on all of this, mane.

Wow, well that's a big win!
I'm sorry, but too many damn people are on this shit that's made by people using deadly chemicals that normally don't know how to tie their shoes.
I REALLY don't understand why people risk it for a life of fiending. On another note, they finally made a Bath Salt bust in our towns biggest pawn shop. Have never seen someone on it, but it's the biggest problem in town as of recent, and apparently makes people tweak just as bad.
-
Makes me sad I'm selling mine, they seem pretty easy to seal off subs from the trunk with they way the seats are set up. And I was expecting a tiny trunk and was pretty surprised at the space in there. But I think going through the seats, you can fit about 15'' in height, dont quote me on that though.

When people use the wrong lifting technique. Cool man, you can bench 405, but your back looks like a pretzel.
Squatters who barely bend their knees and think they got 600. I lol every time, looking right at them. And they have that dumb stare like "what?".
Yep, my local gym is also very notorious for all back deadlifting

Meh, some people just refuse to take good advice, man. Ignorance is gonna end up costing them.
p.s. Holy cow, you're from SE Iowa?!? I figured I was all alone haha. I reside in the B.

Awesomeness.
On a side note, I've got a '99 zx2, and I got TONS of steering wheel flex with a stock system......when I'm idling, haha.
Err, not to quote myself, but if your Escort doesn't have a rediculous shake when idling then my comment sounds completely dickish. Just thought i'd clarify, lol.

And the big 3 is a - from the battery to the chassis, and a - to the alt and the a + to the alt?
No. + from alt to battery
- from battery to chassis
- from battery to engine block
Either I'm too tired, or this is the same thing. But imo a direct - from battery to alt would be slightly better than from the battery to engine block. which is more or less the same thing
Finally dead?

Hmm, well mine started after about 3 months, but it held up for another year, sold it to a friend and as far as I know it's still going strong. Not the greatest thing ever, but a fairly budget friendly amp that the average person can link to a namebrand.
