Yea when I got my last tattoo on my chest it was in an area that stretched pretty much when ever I extended my arms and I had no choice but two continue training for mma while it was healing and it looked ROUGH, cleared right up though after a few extra weeks just had to take extra care to keep it clean

not exactly sure on what you should do but I will tell you that I'm pretty sure that second paint drawing is not a good idea.. and as for the axis and db attentuation play around with them, you will most likely end up with the attenuation switch at 0db and the axis off...different with different setups though
