You may want to think about looking at a used one from a reputable dealership in town. Last thing you need to do is sink a ton of money in a lemon that can't be returned. I would honestly do a shit ton of research about where to go and what place can be trusted. Since you don't really have credit you will need you dad for co signing and since you're buying used check to see if your banks rates are lower for car loans than the dealer you're buying from. I would also do a credit check on you and your father right before you walk into any dealer and hand it to them so they don't have to run your credit again. Also rethink the above 100k notion you don't want a truck from 07 with 100k + on it. The normal consumer only drives 12-15k a year if the truck has anything more than 76k then that person drove it and drove it hard. Even if its all highway you still don't want that many miles on something that is only 5 years old.
Whats the longest term car dealerships normally allow isn't it like 72 months? Also how much would be a good downpayment? I can afford about 250 a month max

Alls I have is a checking and savings account with TCF, I have a job and might even be gettin promoted today hopefully waitin on boss man to call my phone...and I could get my Dad to cosign probably..

Well I'm DEAD set on gettin a tahoe by next march..I wan't a new body style one 07> but I don't know how I should go about gettin one. Dealership? Private Seller? Loan? What about police auctions? I don't care about getting one with 100xxx miles as long as its a damn tahoe and its black or I can paint it black lol I am already saving for a down payment by March thats my goal..I need some advice from you guys who have went through the whole process.

^ Like he said. If u want an amp (a.s.a.p.) then its a good choice. Other wise go for something thats more efficient.
APSM's does put out close to rated power, and i havent had any problems with mines. Great amps for price overall.
But it all depends on what suits u
Been said before. Audiopipes/Hifonics brz = cheap power. Gets the job done but don get surprised if you smell it or it smokes one day.
I ran a BRZ1200 for a while...not hating on the amp. But if it took a crap on me one day I wouldn't have lost any sleep. Get the AP 1500's if you need amps now and understand they are recycleable. If your not in a hurry..save up and get a BC2k or BC3k or something from the offerings of Sundown/skar/DD/etc.
I've had an aq2200 for about a week now guys haha

two skar 1500's might be alot for 3-SA15's depends what your final ohm load is.
3000 watts for THREE sa-15's? if he even gets the full 3000 watts strapped like that that still wouldn't be anything they couldn't handle you could put that power on 3 sa-12s and they would take it...

In Indiana you have to be 18 for shotguns and rifles, 21 for handguns of through a dealer. Private party you can buy handguns legally as long as you have your carry permit, which you can get at 18. And you can carry with your permit at 18. So the only way to legally posess a handgun under 21 is private party with ccw or if your parents or grandparents gift it to you. But ammo you have to be 21 to buy it.
no way you guys can really get carry permits there under 21?

okay but you cant buy ammunition and having it will get you a felony. also if you have someone buy the ammo for you its a felony. be careful you can be braking the law without even knowing it
Obviously I don't carry the gun...and I can posses ammunition in my house I have about 300rds of 180 grain hollow points locked up in my room and its perfectly legal I checked everything with my local law..

put a plastic bag in the area that needs sealed. spray great stuff inside bag until its tightly filled. problem solved. perfect seal with no mess.

It is basically a giant relay, so make sure the ground is solid, I would go to the battery neg. You could check it with a DMM to make sure the coil of the relay is still functioning properly. Make sure ground and ign are connected, hook power to one side of the relay, check voltage at battery with car on (running), then check voltage at the battery neg and the open post on the other side of the relay, if it isn't the same at the battery then relay coil is weak and not letting full voltage pass thru the solenoid.
Hmm ok I did think that the coil could be weak but what do you think about this theory.. Heres how its supposed to be wired so on the big posts I had my battery 1 and battery 2 lead in 0 gauge, and on the ignition and ground lead I had some small ass like 18 gauge wire lol do you think that might the problem? I have 4 gauge wire I could use I just didn't think they needed some larger gauge wire because the posts are smaller than the battery 1 and battery 2 post

i have an audiopipe ap-1500.1d at a 1ohm load on 2 planetaudio big bang 15's in a slot ported box i got from hifiaudio going on 2 years now in my 2010 tahoe plus a soundstream bass processor and haven't had a problem yet. my cuzin got 2 audiopipe ap-3000.1d on 2 lanzar 1533d (1 on each amp) at a 2 ohm load in a 2003 trailblazer with a superbass probox and you will not sit in there long.
why wouldn't we sit in there long? that system sounds like it sucks. Probably does.

A: don't use the relay.
B: take a dmm to that charger when you hook it up and make sure that it doesn't charge at over 15V. I had 3 different 12V Schumacher chargers that all wanted to charge at 16V+
A. Why? Wouldn't it protect my agm from being brought down by my stock battery?
B. I did it charged at like 14.8

Hey guys I installed my battery relay I had and wired it up however, when it would activate it the second battery would be seeing lower than the first battery and then it would SLOWLY climb to near the voltage of the first battery..Does this mean my relay is just shitty and no good? It is like 5 years old, and the posts are pretty dirty and somewhat rusty...

I had two sa-12s in this box for about 5 months and in it they hit 143.1 off music on a hifonics getting about 900 watts each...This box gets down...As for its condition there is no structural damage, it does have flush mounted baffle (which are doubled) and my subs have been mounted and remounted in them so there are holes...but plenty of room to mount subs again...There are also 4 small holes in the back of the box where I put bolts through for my terminals..Can be fixed easily by either putting more bolts through or putting tape over them and pouring a little fiberglass in em and then takin the tape off .....it has black carpet on it except for the back the dirtyness you see on top of the box is because when I removed the sheet that was protecting it a bunch of shit on top the sheet fell off lol i will clean it before it ships out.

i mean ill be completely honest, i still have about 3feet of 0awg left that i could just use for the bc2k, fuse it and be done.
but i wanted to salvage that last piece so i could just replaced my distribution block with a fuse holder and than use that extra 0awg to connect to the back battery.
but than i would have to buy more 0awg from the battery to the amp anyways... so i think it was just me trying to be a cheap ass with this and just find a way to save wire.
but it'll have a chance of biting me in the ass anyways so i think ill just use my current 0awg and save up for some more later. as the upgrade continues on.
