well i used to run a so called 2000 rms hifonics, lets just say the rockford "1500" puts it too shame. My amp doesnt even get hot, the hifonics how ever....

yea its all preference when it comes to good woofers, buy a pair, try them out, let us know whats good.
im really diggin the abs, the look pretty beasty, and iv already ran dcs, and have been recomended the havocs by a few people. its not a verse thread im just lookin for peoples opinions on what they would run, not saying anyone is better then the other.

it probably sounds good to you but it would probably sound like shit to us. not being a dick, but im just saying. mixing woofers and boxes is a huge no no. cancellation comes into effect here. i bet if you built a box with a design from one of the guys on here, you'll burn all your other boxes
yea you have no point of reference, id be willing to bet if you heard a proper setup youd become a believer

dont mix subs, thats your first problem.
Look on the SSA store website, those are all god woofers that will get you decent scores with a good box.

i guess my question is for now on a stock 130 alt can i get a way with running 1 xp3000 and kinetik or even 2 xp 3000's with no kinetik. (2 T1500cps)

The best sounding system I have ever had was a JL system. JL W0v2 12" and a pair of VR650 components. $100 for the sub new, and $175 for the components new. Running of a single RF T400-4. I decided to trade the level of quality of sound for more sound but nothing has ever compared to the sound of that system.
I won't even get into the crazy people that swear by JL stuff, they are as nuts as any nuthuggers out there. That doesn't mean that is is bad stuff. They have some stuff that is ridiculously expensive that I would never even think about paying for.
But to just call them trash is flat out wrong.

i wouldn't say JL is trash. JL makes very, very nice equipment.
in terms of the amount you pay as opposed to what you get..

the t2500 would be sick thou, single amp > 2 amps, especially if they are not strappable.
