UPDATE I looked into some other brands and came across the Fi Q 12" and SSA icon 12". Both all have very positive reviews. Which is better in your opinion? What would be a good way to set them up purely for SQ?

Nah I'm not set on JL that's just what the guy recommended. I have fairly limited sub knowledge so that's why I came here to check. I'm open to pretty much anything

Ok cool so I guess I need a kick ass box. Never built one before though. I'm guessing that would be way cheaper than buyin one? But if I were to buy one, what would u guys suggest...

I talked to a guy at a local audio store, and he recommended a 12" JL WØv3 and a 360 watt JL amp bridged. He told me that this would give me the best SQ in his opinion, since I'm not really concerned with SPL. Is that true?
