  1. Ideas for 97 Mustang build?

    Looking for ideas on a system for my 97 Mustang.. I had a VVX-12 and MB-Quart ONYX 1000 amp in my F150 that I loved

    I planned on building a new box and putting it in my new car so I took everything out of truck and put it in back seat of the car when I traded it.. The very next day the car was broke into and all my audio stuff a SCT X3 tuner and the box of random stuff I took out of my truck was stolen (When I cleaned my truck out I threw everything in a Summit Racing box so I guess they thought somthing good mighta been in it).. thats been about 3 weeks ago now and with no luck in finding any of my stuff im ready to move on and start the next system

    Im okay to use the whole trunk but im kinda thinking maybe just goin with a small system since its a mustang.. and I am gonna have Nitrous so ill have to have a place for the nitrous bottle back there..

    right now im thinking 2 VVX-10s with the nitrous bottle in the middle...

    Sound like a good plan?? anyone else got any suggestions?? Im open to anything..

    I bought my house here in Ga. for $15,400 it was a little over 16k after taxes and closing fees and shit... And OP i know your pain dude.. Im 22 and my mom lives with me shes never worked and wont work.. my dad always worked so after he died she had nothing.. I have to work and pay for everything, Hell I even bought her the car she has.. Only cool thing about it is she does clean the house and I get to eat good homecooked meals again haha

    you can easily fit 1 more 12 in there lose the seat and get some bass

    Haha well I need to seat atleast 4 people for now.. so im thinking about trying to do some kind of center console with 2 VVX-12s but im gonna have to get that planned out then order another sub and recone my current D2 12 to a D4..

    But dont worry once I get another car (looking for like a honda to save gas) I wont need the back seat in my truck then ill trash the seat and want to do somthing big like atleast 4 VVX-15s lol

    Sounds great man, how's your SQ broski?

    Sub sounds awesome.. it pounds on rap but I can still play country and rock and get clean tight bass that doesnt sound like ass..

    the door speakers arent the best but im working on upgrading those soon.. Right now I just have a set of 6.5 coax pioneers in the front doors and a set of Alpine type S 5x7s in the back doors running on HU power.. But I have a set of FLI 6x9s i plan on putting in the back after I get a amp for the door speakers

    You just line the slide up and pull it back to put it back on..

    You were dry firing it after you pulled the slide release down right??

    I did per instructions to ensure it was unloaded. Bad idea?

    Well if you were firing it to see if it was unloaded then yeah bad idea lol..

    but to remove the slide pull the slide back, check that its unloaded push the slide release down and hold it down, now let the slide foward then pull the trigger all while holding the release down.. the slide should pop off..

    even if your amp is set with DD-1 or o-scope, your subs will get warm.

    Okay thats what I was wondering.. cause its not like its been getting hot its just never got warm before on the old amp so it had me worried..

    I live in Canton and I have a DD-1.

    Really?? I work in Norcross maybe one day I get off early we could meet up.. You wouldnt happen to be the guy that had the VVX 15 on CL would you?? lol
