y not run more kicker ds's? i had a set of ds 60(6&1/2) ran from headunit and amp n they got really loud n stayed clean,n for $30-$45 a set u cant beat it, the only reason i got rid of em was i wanted a comp set, i got mine ran from a memphis pr150.2 n amp does 150rmsx2@2ohm maby more, n i cant go past 1/8,1/4 gain without it makein my head hurt from how loud it gets, even tho my pioneer has 6.5v preouts its still loud for what it is n sounds clean to

i get mine from auto zone, the flex strips, i got blue ones under my dash n they goin strong, but most blues aint the same color, like one is aqua and the other navy n what knot, but still work good none the less

try puttin a switch on the remote wire, cause if its hooked to acc it gets current anyways n i kno a lil 18guage wire aint gunna stop a car from starting, n if it dies when u dont give it gas u need to adjust the idle speed, thats what my geo does with or without system and still with big three, u might just halfto adjust the idle cause ur electrical is fine, aint no way a 80amp alt with only 300w is gunna stop it from runnin, i had a mtx 500d runnin @ 1lohm on 2 rockford punch he2 12's on 4guage n it was pullin around 80-100amps with a 1f cap n it would pull so much my headlights would bout cut off n shit but car never cut off, n my truck only has a 70amp alt i think n im runnin 1000w sub amp, 300w mids n highs amp, and 300w midbass amp on 2 batterys with big three in 0guage n everything 0guage and nothins wrong with anything n doesnt hesitate to start then again it might be ur starter if it doesnt want to start, or maby just needs idle adjustment, if its not idleing high enulf it wont run right, my geo idles at like what sounds like 500rpm, i halfto rev it to keep it goin, so that might be ur prob

and what guage wire u runnin? for that 900w amp ied atleast run 4guage, i wouldn't try to run more than 400w on 8guage unless its a mids n highs amp, trust me over kill works out to be more efficent in the long run than underkill

i kno ppl dont like em but run atleast a 1f cap, i had a ma audio hk400w amp runnin 2 audiobahn 12's in my geo n with a amp of 30amp fuseing and a 75amp alt my car still shut off, i hooked up my cap n problem solved, big three doesnt relly help current flow to the amp just to front battery, kinda why other ppl run 2nd batterys n what knot, somethin has to give sufficent power to sub amp somewere, n a cap can hold up to around 1000w, i ran my 1f cap in my system befor i got my other battery n i got little to hardly any light dimming but i was runnin @ 1ohm on a 1ohm stable amp but seriously caps do work for smaller systems of around 1000w or less, its just like runnin a lil battery n is worth the money, this has solved my problem many times, and i still have one in my geo, but its old n ima get a spl one off here shortly, caps aint bullshit like other ppl say they are, they do work, just not for around a 12kw ground pounder, and big three does help to, i done it on my geo n went from 13.0v to 14.6v at idle, and unless ur runnin stock stereo run ur remote wire off ur headunit instead of car acc wire, helps alot to and on ur car wantin to cut off, the idle might be to low, i gotta addjust the idle speed on my geo here shortly cause it wants to cut off but i press the gas just the little bit n it runs fine

ied run 3 subs per channel @ 1.5 ohm n with box rise it will be around 2ohm, might help out the power to sub ratio, and help em not run out of phase as much, in first vid it looked like middle subs wasnt moveing n one on each corner was movein like hell, but unless other channel is messed up run 3 subs on each channel, like this, or u can wire each sub 2ohm n it will give u 1.5 on each channel might work better

i think they work the same way, most carson n whelen pa speakers run as sirens and pa messenger's also, ive seen one takein apart n its got a hella small speaker but gets really really loud for what it is

do you have the bulb for the spl cap? i need another cap, my stinger 1f cap is takein a shit on me n mounts is broke, and what does that eq do exactly? and what wattage is that amp @ w/e ohm? i need somethin for around 500 or so @ 2 or 1ohm, are u lookin for any trades?

i got 2 15's ina downfire sealed box n its loud as shit to me n hits lows like hell, when i was driveing home from gettin some chinese food i was wangin on it n i looked at the guys rear view beside me n it was shakein n his wife or gf looked at me like turn that shit down, n there windows was up.. he was old so i kno he didn't have bass to, and dynamat or any sound deadning helps alot, i did a lil bit on my doors n it made it a lil louder due to the fact that my doors shake to much when lows hit n i loose that output and i listen to alot of country n bluegrass, rap, rock, rnd, it sounds killer on everything, and 15's ftw, if u get smaller u will want to go bigger afterward n halfto make a new box were one box can be a lil close to almost all subs sound good in same box

kicker ss, memphis mclass, clif deigns i forget what series, but ied pick memphis out of all of em with a memphis amp, i kno there priced high but u get what u need from it, i cant go past 1/4 gain on my 150.2 without drowning out my bass, ied do a 150.2 and 2 sets of mclass comps

i was wondering bout the xxx comps myself, would they be a good buy for just a mids n highs setup, i mean do they got enulf midbass to not need a sub n still get clean sound? they look beefy as hell tho, n what do they handle rms?
