ive yet to get a car to flash there lights at me with hids but i did when i had aftermarket halogens, they was like a 6000k output color, or inbetween 6-8000k, i got 8000k now and love em, they dont shine out at other ppl either so that helps and cops dont seem to care any, ima try n sell the hids i got now to my uncle and get a set of hid hi/lows from futurvisionhid off here cause i miss high beams, and my hids have the lil reflector houseing on the bulb, and ima get a set of projectors when i find the ones that will work right with my truck

these sound awesome and with the right install midbass sounds killer on anything, i got the db6500 comps in the front and db651 coaxs in back ran from a sony 600w4ch and its loud and clean, and also have a pioneer 680 running it to, just make sure u give em a good amount of wattage cause with low power below 50watts rms and they sound like shit, i had mine hooked to my house stereo when i first got em to test em with around 300rms and they are loud and clean and really good sq also, i dont kno about the full 300peak watts but they will shine with around 50-150rms just make sure u got ur hpf set right or u wont get no midbass at all, i got my hpf set to 80htz on headunit and its awesome match with my 5500 15 in the trunk, and i got my mids n highs for around $100 total, 60-70 for comp set and 30 for coax from local shop, he has some more of the polk db stuff, i might go pick up some more of the midbass's and what knot and make me a diff setup, anyways with right tuneing they sound heavenly, i acually like em better than my kicker ks comps

and if all elts fails ied still like to find a good amp that will do around 1500rms @ 2ohm, i was lookin into a kicker 1500d but i cant spring $500 right now for a amp, is there any other ones outthere that will do it ina budget? ied pay $300 or so but not $500, and im off to bed right now i'll check back on post tommrow cause i really need a bigger amp for these 15's cause i kno they got more in em cause this downfire box i got now seems to be pritty efficent so far so ied like to give these around 750rms each there 500rms 1000max or so, they got a 12spoke basket, double stacked magnet, n i unno what else, heres the page on the ones i got, mine are 15'' single 4ohm http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/archive/2003thunder8000sub.cfm , its a tough ass sub but ied like to give em what they need but not really blow em, i dunno what they can handle daily, only person i kno of that has ran these is deephitterz n ied like to kno how much he ran to his might help me here a lil bit, sorry im goin off topic but it all comes to one some sort of way

wouldn't dual 2ohm give me .5 or 2ohm final load with 2 of them? or is it .5ohm stable daily? or get dual 4ohm n wire to 2 to 1ohm? and u think it would be as efficent as my pr1000d?

nah man im not like some of the other ppl i kno that have there friend steal it n then get somethin else n then get theres back, im just askin so if it ever did happin i could have options to go from than just ask myself will this sound good or what knot, and i love my system its the best one ive had so far, im just askin what i could get for the money like headunit, componits and rear fill (both 6&1/2's), mids n highs amp(2ch), subs, sub amp, wire, battery, and what knot, im just askin to get a idea on what else i could get other than i got now, if it does get gone ied like to upgrade from what i got now to somethin better hopefully

ya, i do look around alot for stuff but its kinda a budget system, and more for sql than spl, i want somewhat moderate loud that sounds good, i was gunna run either pg rsd, kicker ks, or so what ever i can get cheap, a good mids n highs amp, but i wanna try diff subs, i want somethin that will get low but still have good sq with diff music like rock n country, but will hit lows in rnb n rap, i want somethin like a good set of 12's cause 15's take up to much space n im havein a kid sometime in june so its gotta be pritty cheap but good and will work good off 1000wrms @ 1ohm, im thinkin bout takein out my 15's n get a set of 12's that i can port somehow prolly with a aero port, this post is for what i can get full system wise for $2000 cause thats whate insurence will give me if it gets gone, but i want a good set of 12's for around $400 or below that will work well with around the wattage i got cause i had a set of cerwin vega vmax 12's with the orange surround ina sealed downfire box i rigged up and it sounded better n got lower than my 15's do now or close to it, so i think im more into 12's than 15's cause i dont have the money to get a bigger amp yet to give em more than ratied rms to see what they will do, there 500rms 1000max, and i kno if i threw 750 at each of em they would eat it up but im only givein em 400rms each and its good but not nere what ive had befor and this is the biggest system ive had so far but i want louder, u think i can port these without a wall and it still sound good and get low in the 32htz range? i have no problem with how low they can get now and they have no problem doin it but u cant really hear the low notes like u can with ported boxs but i cant build em right unless i have pics with mesurements to help out cause tuneing a port is hard for me, anyways thankx for the help guys

$2,000, what kinda system could i get that includes speakers, headunit, amps, subs, wire, i'll install and build box myself, thats the limit on my insurence on my system, n i was just wondering what all i could get for $2,000 system wise with atleast 2 good 12's or 15's, options welcome, i think i got around $1,800 or so in what i got now but i got it at a deal tho, and didn't pay retail on anything and did all the work myself, so i was wondering what i could get for around that price if i need to sometime down the line

well i was thinkin, seince kicker suposidly made the first square sub, why not try a rectangle? more surfice area than square or a dimond shaped sub, xtance made some befor and bazooka made triangle so why not rectangle? sony does octigon or pentagon, ied like to see subs that can stack around eachother cause round subs dont seem to be able to get into tight places were a rectangle can go anyways i guess or so, i unno if its just me but i think diff shape subs look cool but i guess stickin to square n round is best for now, ied like to try those bazookas tho because i heard one in there premade ported triangle box ran from a kicker 750.1 and it got down n sounded awesome and played low good and u can get em cheap off ebay or someweres else i think, anyways thankx for lookin

it said tc sounds made this for a home audio company and i seen another page were tc makes speakers for morel also, but these are made for home audio or so its what it said, but i dont understand how it would work unless that inside piece is the magnet n the coil moves inside of that, imo ied rather have a 8x12 sub from partsexpress for a simple setup with componits in front doors and 8x12's in rear deck for sub/midbass, but anyways it looks cool but for somethin that came from tc sounds i would of thought it would be alot more beefy than that but anywho ied like to hear em tho, might have some good sq but prolly not that much excursion
