i like to take a 2x4 and rip it down to 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 and round over the corners, i always have a bunch of 2x4s around, so i just use what i have laying around
-
Congrats! I'm in the same boat. Once you get this far, its not as hard all the time, or even often. But when it is, it really is.
-
looks good, you need to lower that thing so bad. but i like those rims on that car
-
all my eclipse cd players have svc, source volume control. so you can even out the volume of the cd and aux to the radio, kinda the same idea, but it doesnt adjust the radio
-
I would for sure do an x or h pipe, the scavenging effect helps even out, and speed up exhaust flow, as well as helping it sound better, an h is gonna sound a little smoother, but an x flows a little better. If u wanna get crazy, you could fab up a prochamber like MAC makes, and they are the best of both worlds

obsidian audio makes an 18 that isnt very expensive, but i have never owned anything made by them, so i have no input on how they sound
-
i have4 seen them live twice, but it has been a very long time. very awesome shit. flames everywhere
-
watch some youtube videos, read up on here, order a recone, and do it yourself. its not as difficult as you would think
-

Yeah, make sure you use an adhesion promoter, and a flex additive to the paint, and u will be fine
-
in that series they made a 600-2 1200-2 1200-4 and a 2400-2 and that looks like one of the 2 channel ones, who knows what it really puts out though

i would try the fine wool you have first, if there arent a bunch of deep scratches or anything sand those out with the sandpaper. but basically yeah, rub with the wool, then polish
-
dont wet sand, and follow instructions on the wenol tube, they are small enough that i wouldnt use a buffer. just some elbow grease
-
i use those bar grills, and i like them, but if you want a different kind and they fit too close, go to a hardware store and buy some spacers, the metal tube type. then run the screws through them, and the grills and everything
-
you could cut them, then buy a coupler, and glue them back together
*damn, i had the window open for a few minutes, and got slo-mo ninja'd*
-
they sell wheel cleaner at the auto parts store, maybe even walmart. i believe it is in a orange spray bottle. it has some kind of acid in it
-
i dont know if its cheaper or not but i use red devil lightweight spackling compound on the outside edges and screw holes, it sands easy, and never pops loose, and i always have a ton of it being as im a union painter.

nice bike, looks clean as hell!

not worth it if its your daily driver.....wont be reliable at all....and getting injecters that can be run by your ecu will be a bitch....standalone ecu is the way to go with that but your talkin a ton of money.....
edit: COULD be reliable if you dump a TON of money and if you run a low volume turbo..... like a td-04 or something.
id start at 5 lbs on a small turbo first.....
How is a turboed car not reliable?
Bigger injectors won't work on a stock ecu at all lol.
Ditch the v6, get the s/c 4.6l v8 out of an 03-04 cobra svt and call it a day
i dont think it would be reliable on a motor that isnt fresh, and also built and tuned by a person who doesnt know what they are doing. bigger injectors work on stock ecus all the time, but the fuel map would not work at all for a turbo car. the cobra motor would work well, but there are cheaper ways to get that kind of power.
i dont mean to sound like a dick, but this really is one of those things where if you have to ask, you havn't read into it enough. you should look at some mustang forums, i bet someone has already done what you are wanting. they most likely have written a how-to thread as well.

here are a few of mine

you can almost guarantee it can play the "brown noise"
-
effects are way better looking imo. i love the bbs-ish style of the spokes
-
my first was an old california "300 watt" (my ass) amp, it was tiny, on 2 old fosgate 10s. but it was 1997
-
or cut out the curves and use some kind of rubber seal, they sell all kinds of different ones at hardware stores
