Not like that would matter though, I figure if anything- the choke point would be the tinsels, now I could understand if the tinsels were in 4 gauge wire, but wouldn't anything larger than the tinsels just be somewhat pointless?
Look at it like this... why run such a large wire to the amp? When you look inside some amps that wire is small. Its not the size of the wire in what ever you are hooking up, its the size that you put to it that matters most. Go with the biggest you can. I got a friend who spend 800 dollars on an amp but won't spend the money to upgrade his 8 ga ground wire. If you are going to spend that much money on your equipment, do an over kill on wire.

Any plans on something bigger.. say a Sundown 4000 maybe? Man, could imagine strapping 2 Sundown 4000's and getting close to 10,000 watts.

Common sense would tell you that the price will be somewhere between that of a 1500d and a 3000d. Yeah one would think if a 1500 is 400ish and a 3000 is 800ish the 2000 should be around 600. but you never know.
Btw the way isn't it passed you bed time...

Oh no, it won't be nearly as expensive as the 3000D. It'll be about in the middle between the 1500 and 3000.

Go ahead and switch to a 1500d & make your way onto Team Sundown that way you can get first dibs at new product.
Thats okay on the 1500, i want to be at the front on the line for the 2000.

Final pricing is TBA. I have not yet accounted for the new style heat-sink and any other potential changes I may make before the first production run.
I would imagine that it wouldn't cost more then a 3000, would that be right?

I'm seriously interested in the amp but would like a price to go on. If you insist on an offer then I'll say $500 for the amp. I know its a low-ball but its just a start. I'd prefer you name a price and lets go from there.
I guess thats a never mind on that amp now...

The 2000D is a priority for sure but I had a huge surge in demand for SAZ-1500Ds (big thanks to my MECA guys) so I am bringing in several hundred for stock (all with the new style heatsink too), that set me back a bit on introducing the 2000D.
No worries, though, the 2000D will be released as soon as possible.
How can I get my name on a list or something for one of those 2000's?

500 watts is the 4 ohm rating I need for the local shows that I compete in. I am in the 0-500 watt class and I need some thing stronger then my Rockford T10001bd. I was wanting to get a Sundown 1500 or a IA20.1 but I think i will hold out for the Sundown 2000.

Stinger makes a coupler and about 5 bucks or so. Should be able to find it on ebay. Or you can get a nice looking fuse holder and say you meant to do it that way.
