Thanks for the answer n8ball2013. Makes a lot of sense. Some people do take riding their die hard brand a little too serious. Yes mikes_g6, I am a noob here. Guess what. At one point you were too. If I dont ever ask the question I will never know the answer. I should have been more specific. My bad. I do understand they are both 2 completely different subs and the system to power a SMD properly would need to be beefed up. What I was looking at was 1 SMD 18 on a mechman alt with 2 kinetic 1800 amp batteries. Now I havent done all my research on this completely thats why I came in here. I was more looking to power the SMD at around 3500 to 4k rms. The ride is a 2006 magnum and its my daily driver but i want to build her back up so I can show my work to others since I want to start my stereo shop again. Im no big time installer and I am full time air force but i enjoy doing it on the side. If i dont have a nice clean set up, then who would ever want me to work on their car? OK, First off i appologize. I did not know you couldnt "compare" nor "whats better" on this forum. I need some clarification then. Why allow polls on here, if that is exactly what they are for. Opinions and thoughts from others on what would be best. If you cant share opinions with others and ask what would be best then what is the point exactly in this community? Just to show off? Im really confused to be honest. I always thought forums where to help each other out and share knowledge amongst a group of people with common interest. Respectfully, DirtyPana
