i used track 7 on smd cd idk what db it is there was no buning smell sub wasnt hot nothing was hot and when i can c through the split of the former and see the 8th layer of coil is pure yellow copper it wasnt clipping at i actaully turned the gain even more down from where dd-1 said it was clipping so i put everything on it wasnt clipping i will take a video toworrow or monday depends on if i have time of me redd-1ing the amp to prove it wasnt clipping

it was HALF way though the tl said like 68 hz lol tht isn't low at ALL

at .5 im thinking the first time when i was getting metered it maybe just broke connection a little bit maybe and so i turned amp off and back on it was green so i got out of the lanes and parked and i played a song at about a third of full tilt and it shut off and then i was like wtf looked everything over and couldnt see anything wrong and went back to watching after trophys me and my buddy went to the car amp was green i played welcome back decaf about 25 secs on full tilt and it went in protection and nothing was hot so i was like screw it and mess around with it in the morning got up started car amp was green and no sub i ran the coils and they were open on both coils took sub out looked it over kept reading open so checked to c if i could get recone and kurt said two weeks so i cut it up and seen the coil and thts my day play by play

i thought it wouldnt blow up or break so thts y i bought it so thts y its 850 shipped to its new home im not pissed at rusty or anything but its only 5k and it burned copper through so at least was hot but it wasnt at all the dust cap just legit cold

lol sorry ive been busy just got on here i guess first box is 7^3 with 2 6" aeros 12"s long. i did a 49 at 44 and then went back up and was at 147 midway though a sweep and then amp went into protection and then it came out and then i did a little demo at full tilt and then it blew sub and amp were cool and nothing on fire lol... as i was looking at it and tinsels on spiders were fine but at the coil it literally burned through where the tinsel lead goes through the former and then the leads both sides are the same and the coil isnt black or even brown it wasnt clipping at all and volts were at 12.4 at full tilt so dont blame tht i have the pic at the bottom would this be dc screw up or could it of been me?

i just bought a dc 5k and its been on the sub for 6 days and i went to a comp in st. joes missouri to see what it does in a piece of crap box and almost did a 149 but in my final run the sub blew up lol so only 6k will kill a level 6 i guess it wasnt clipping for at least 2 months tht it was mine so at least i can start fresh this time. p.s. also need a recone but kurt couldnt give me a price yet so does anybody know?

ok went and bought a 60 buck multimeter and check all my termials and changed all fuses still all same but i ran a run back to the back bats off my alt and its up to 13.1 at amp so im gonna charge my batts all night and buy a ho alt and go from there

ill change fuses and update yall toworrow

the batts r 12.4 off 12.6 charging the stinger says 13.2 and its caibrated and i think hooked up right and ive never had a problem with the stinger until this car

and i had extact wire and everything in a 98 monte b4 it died and now put everythin in my camaro so the monte always ran 14.6 so idk

its install bay wire i kno shitty wire but it works all fuses are in

i have a red top optima under hood with the big 3 and stock alt thts putting out 14.3. i just put all 1/0 in car if 1 pos and 1 neg to back with 2 xs power d3100 on a dc pai2000.1. it started with my stinger voltmeter reading 13.2 at amp and i thought that was weird so i voltmeter on the termianls on amp and its says 12.4 and my batts just sitting are 12.2 but my optima up front running is reading 13.8 so im wondering if i should do 1 run off the alt to back or other 1 back off the red top or something else?

lol well the meter is the harbor freight special lol but if ur right then im running my amp at 2 ohm bridged then and its suppose to be only at 4 ohms brigded
