I have newest 1. 800rms with the BRZ1200.1D at 2 ohms = 900rms CEA rated it is said to be. To me this is a great combo so far I absolutely love it. Like I said hits nice and strong, and sounds good and clean. For the $ the BRZ is sweet! Little story to that though... Got 1st BRZ1200.1D right around X-Mas, wired up...no sound from sub...white smoke comin' out of amp, shut down and sent in. Got second 1 about 2 weeks later and changed nothing wiring wise cuz I checked and rechecked and rechecked...thinking at 1st it was my fault, but wasn't. Hooked this 1 up and has been pumpin as I said ever since. Really am impressed with it. I can't say enough, to me, how good it sounds. Just excited like lil kid to build box and get the "most" out of the T1. Just gonna go ahead then and within the next few weeks probly build the 1 in the manual. 3.12cu. ft. rearrange my amp rack and go from there. Future plans are T1693's for the rear deck lid, and T1652-S for the doors with an amp that does 100rms channel by 4...haven't chosen 1 yet, was thinking about sticking with Hifonics, maybe a Zues or the Brutus Elite just to match BRZ. Up in air still though. Ole lady says I gotta chill a bit for now anyways, so I'll be happy just to get the box built for now.

Cool, thanks for the quick replies! Not lookin to DB drag or none of that, just want this thing to be at it's potential. Don't get me wrong...it really does hit and sound tight in the sealed box that it is in, but I just really want to build a box #1, and like I said wanted some opinions so I didn't waste time and do it right the 1st time. First of all, new to forum, name is Rich from Florida. Have '02 Hyundia Elantra(Wife's ride) I ride motorcycle everyday to work. Recently bought a Pioneer 12" sub...Champion series cheaper one, and powered it with a MTX RFL202 on the cheap just to try. Wasn't enough, haven't had a system in years, but knew that this was not enough. Did some research, ended up buying a RF T1D412, reused sealed 1.36cu. ft. box, and bought BRZ1200.1D running at 2 ohms. EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase, sub and amp! Hits nice clean and hard. Not worried about trunk space, but want to build box myself for the T1. Should I just go with the "H.O." slotted build that Fosgate has in the manual, or guess just looking for suggestions. Was gonna just go ahead and build the recommended one by them, but don't wanna waste time and $. Also, Kenwood 595X headunit, and stock door and decklid speakers for now. Just have cheaper 4 gauge kit, gonna go with either KnuKoncepts 0 gauge duel amp kit, Fosgates, JL's, or Kicker's eventually as $ comes along, gonna also get a 4 channel amp and new door and decklid speakers when funds are availible too.
