okay so i did the precision port calculator, and for a 6 inch port it would be around 12.5 inches for 34hz. is that enough? i want the most efficency i can get.

and i want the best performance i can get

i would still like the performance of a compition system, and its the little things that count right? and how about the bolts for speaker terminals? and using like 8 or ten guage wire for speaker wire?

The 8" port would need to be about 21" for a 35Hz so it would need to be firing sideways. hmm okay is there anything you would suggest doing? like dropping to a six inch port? i hope that wont increase the box rise to much?

so 32hz? okay and is there something you would recomend better for the box size? and what can i do to make sure my box rise stays as low as possible?

i listen to more rap, and i would like to be able to do a little spl when i need to i wanna find some local audio comps but areo ports are interchangeable arent they?

Okay so i have 2 sa 12s on the way and a brz1700amp, i am trying to design a box for my audi a4 that will be sealed off from the trunk into the cabin, i have never done this before and i am still learning about box rise, to combat box rise i would like to do an 8 inch areo port, as well as 45s and fiber resin. the space i have to work with is 35" wide, 17" tall, and 20 inches deep. i am aiming for about 4.2 cubic feet ( is that enough?) and around 35hz tuning. i just need a kick in the right direction!

JVC Arsenal cs-aw7240 subwoofer JVC Arsenal ks-ar8001d amplifier Custom made box tuned to 39hz, very well built, 2 tone carpet, hole cut with router. tsunami 4 awg wire and rcas All the stuff is in perfect condition no damage or scrapes of any kind, looks brand new. never been clipped or played above the safe limit of 37.4 volts on my amplifier to the sub. i also have a install bay 1 farad cap if it makes a diiference at all! Please tell me how much this is all worth, i dont need to be criticized about anything it is my first system and im only 16!

okay i have hear this could be an added strain to the alternator charging two batteries? would i be okay with an xs power battery or another good battery as suggested above?

cause i am 16 and gas is 3.80 a gallon.. your in the worng hobby if you dont have money for gas. it doesnt take that much gas at all to idle a car more than you think..i have a v6 with 5 vavles per cylinder..i dont get great mileage haha. also i can pay for gas, i just try to stretch the dollar so i can do more when in comes to things like this!

i am upgrading my system and i have decided to get 2 skar vvx 12s and i want to run some good power and get them moving a bit. i drive a 99 audi a4 and the alt puts out 125 amps, how much power can i run with this? and a big 3 done as well. i am thinking of getting a brz series amp from hifonics to start with until i save up for something better!
