Just got a Hifonics Brutus BRE2500.1D. Curious to know if anyone has benched or had any problems with these amps. Just need it to last until I can afford somthing worth talking about.

I mean 6000 is half of there max.

Ok. Just saying 7500 cause that's half of there max. I need to know cause I want to get the most out of them without damaging them.

I have 8 12" Alpine R's 500 rms 1500 max a piece,4000 watts rms 12000 watts max for all 8. Can I go over that rating and run like say a 5 to 7,500 watt rms amp without damaging the woofers. Hope I asked this question in the right spot.

It's like drinking,the more you drink the more immune to it you become Lol.You have to condition your ears over a period of time, but that still don't mean it's safe.

Ok. It's about to be pushing 8 12" Alpine Type R's at a 1 ohm load until I can afford somthing better. Thanks for your info.

Ok. I just wondered because most amps rms is half of there max and most speakers are too. Want to know is there any amps that there max is 3 times as much as there rms?
