Quick question, does UPS make every item worth over $100 signature required?
-
Dammn...Pretty common in the Miami area just prefer not to ask the people that don't know shit and get their shit installed in a shop. Rather get some 411 from the "pro's" :^ AT SMDX2, never heard of those before :R
SK ^-^

What do you guys think of this amp? Is it a good deal for the price?
Friend is looking for 1500rms but doesn't want to spend much. He doesn't want any thing used either so I recommended him a 2400db. Supposedly does 1800rms, I know it may be over rated but should get the job done, correct?
Is this a good amp for daily driving? Any body really heard any thing bad about PA? As of right now I haven't so fill me in of what you have heard.

I will be sure to get this issue.

And you drill it onto the roof. The only one that came clipped on was my factory tv.
-
If your car didn't come with a hole already from a previous tv then you will have to cut one out to allow to run the wires. As far as I know all TVs need a ground, power wire, and if your running it to the indash, RCAs.
If your getting it to play DVDs or PS2 then it may be slightly easier.

I have a 15.3" flipdown in my Expo. Haven't been able to see how much abuse it could take from bass but my factory 7" took a beating and managed to stay on even thought two 15" L7s were shaking the shit out of it.
I installed it myself however if you don't know how to do it, pay the $50 it get it done right.

Happy late b-day ;D

It be kind of hard to do that though...Remember, they cut into the frame of the car!hell doin what they did would be cheaper than using an electrical system lol. is it in the rulebooks where u cant? besides having to be behind the b pillar. but im sure if u had enough time u could figure something out. BUSTED!!!!!!!

I was hoping they would play a high tone, like 50-60hz.LOL Holy shit!!!
161.6 on the TL......@ 16hz!!!!!!!!!!
that is a crazy number, but i was kinda dissapointed... i thought they were gonna do somethin like put 20 subs in a car and make it explode, or somethin cool like that :-

LOL Holy shit!!!

Never seen a "buss bar" until I saw this thread...How exactly does it work? Is it drilled down to the car? Im interested
-
LOL guess we won't really know until he gets to play with it but I think he will be ok.Yea, but 4 amps sealed, small space, MDF heats up rather nicely, I don't know I'll just shut up lolSK >

Won't be a problem. Take a look at Superior Sound's build up on the MTs...He put two US amps right next to each other to make it look like one big amp.That won't cause them to over heat.Hmmmm...This is frustrating lolMultiple amps together = Heat ??? ??? ???SK >

HCCA D5000 retails for near $1,300.00 or some thing...Friendly online hook ups can get it to me for $500- $550.^^^That thing retails for $2000! :-X

I've had no problems what so ever though with my low beams which I've had for more than 6 months now.
-
GP thunder...$250 per kitnope bad ballast.....no offense bro but ive done my rounds with cheap HID kits and thats what happens.
Cheap HID Kits = Cheap Ballasts.....what brand did you get and how much did you pay?
-
OK so I've been having many problems with 1 of my HIDs. First the ballast was no good. Sent it back got a new one. Then the bulb was no good. Got a new one. Finally I go to connect it and now the light just flickers on and shuts off almost immedietly.
Took it to a buddy of mine that works at a near by shop and he told me it could be the bulb. So I switched the 9005 bulb for some old 9006 I had, just to see if it actually is the bulb. Same thing happens.
Now I would think it would be the ballast but I just got this one back. So I switched ballast with the other working fog light and same thing still happened.
Now im left thinking it could be the fuse. What do you guys think?
My right fog light works but the left one flickers off. FUSE? ???
Are my my plans correct/accurate?

Try to come up with my own plans since I can't think of somebody else that can do it right now so here I go..
Dimensions-
48"= W
18"=H
34"= D
Multiplied the numbers 46.5 X 16.5 X 32.5= 24,935.625
Did 24,935.625 divided by 1728 and that = 14.430
14.430 Divided by two = 7.215
So that would be aproximetly 7.2 cubic ft per chamber before port displacement.
Using four 6" ports, two per chamber, trying to get a tunning of 35hz.
I would cut each port at 13" (length).
What do you guys think? Do you think by those dimensions it would sound good or no?
This is for two 18" BTLs/ MTs.
