  1. I just wrote up specs for a new box, I can get 6.2 cubes out of a ported box that will still fit in my trunk. The only problem is the port I need for 35hz-40hz is huge! How bad would it be if my port was only half the size that is required? And how exactly do hz's work? this is my first good system and I'm still learning
  2. I've had 12's, I prefer the lows that I get from my 15's but I want to put another sub, but I want to do it as correctly a possible even though I know I will be going below specs on the box
  3. nope, just laid then down. It was pretty easy to get in once I took the seats out. I've messed around with this system so much. But getting a new car is out of the question. I love my stang, just wish it had more room in the ass end
  4. I currently have a set up consisting of a single 15" DC xl on a DC 1.2 in a 00 mustang in a 3.5 cube box, not sure what the tune is I want to add another 15" xl and another 1.2 as a slave amp The problem is that I can barely squeeze the current box I have in my trunk in there now, I actually had to take out the rear seats and cut the metal behind the seat, put the box in and re install my seats. If I did double my system will I be wasting my time and money since I can't really get a bigger box? I do have a little more room to make the box a little deeper into my trunk, but not much. A single DC xl 15" is rated to go in a 3.5 cube ported box. Can anyone help me out, maybe give me some tips? All help appreciated
