i would try just running one power wire off one fuse that has the same or a 10 amp higher rating then the fuse on your amp.

well a common chamber will make it a heck of alot easier. here is what im thinking, i have a 4 door blazer, i wanna keep all the seats in so along the back seat i will have a giant port (or however big it needs to be) and i will put the subs at some angle with some curves in it with the fiberglass. then in the middle on the front mount my amps. just got to figure out where to put the bats.
...
I just got back from buying:
2 Sheets of mdf: 44 bucks on sale.
used craftsman table saw : 50 bucks.
found a 1/0 kit in the garage that i will put in
so i think this is the start of my looooong build, but im going to clean it out and run the 1/0 kit. dont know how far i will get cause it is freakkking cold here.

i want to use kicker cvx 15s can i do the port on top, with the subs kinda on a 45 degree angle?
-
ive always grounded to the battery. and have the battery grounded to to a ground to the car. ive had no problems with that.

if i make a box dose it matter where i put the vents? dose it matter if all 4 subs are in 1 chamber or in 4 diffrent chambers with there own vents? what would be a good cu ft size for them, and how big of a vent?
-
It most deffintally should by far outperform a sealed box is built and designed well
well i got time to build one i think i can tune it good if i can figure out what it is suposed to be at. i wanna stay away from a wall build, and i will be having many curves on the box. so i dont know how i would go about putting a vent in it, maby in the back facing up?
-
um i think im going to go with kicker cvx's.
-
are ported louder? i listen to a bit of everything, mainly rap in the truck but every now and then rock but mainly rap with some deeeeep bass. ive never really tuned one i supose thats why they never turned out great, i want somethen that will be loud and hit really deeeep.
-
So im starting a new build for the truck, I plan to do 4 15"s I dont know what kind yet... I just cant decide if i want it to be sealed or vented. Im not making a wall, and plan to do it with fiberglass. im used to making sealed enclosures and listening to them slam!! i have not made to many vented ones nor am i a fan of them, mainly cause around here i havent herd of any good ones.
So the questions comes, should i make it sealed or ported?
What do you think is better overall?

what about a RE SR 15" ? What kind of power can you throw at 1 of these? where do you think this stands? better then a cvx or type r?
