  1. well a common chamber will make it a heck of alot easier. here is what im thinking, i have a 4 door blazer, i wanna keep all the seats in so along the back seat i will have a giant port (or however big it needs to be) and i will put the subs at some angle with some curves in it with the fiberglass. then in the middle on the front mount my amps. just got to figure out where to put the bats.

    ...

I just got back from buying:

2 Sheets of mdf: 44 bucks on sale.

used craftsman table saw : 50 bucks.

found a 1/0 kit in the garage that i will put in

so i think this is the start of my looooong build, but im going to clean it out and run the 1/0 kit. dont know how far i will get cause it is freakkking cold here.

  2. It most deffintally should by far outperform a sealed box is built and designed well

well i got time to build one i think i can tune it good if i can figure out what it is suposed to be at. i wanna stay away from a wall build, and i will be having many curves on the box. so i dont know how i would go about putting a vent in it, maby in the back facing up?

  3. So im starting a new build for the truck, I plan to do 4 15"s I dont know what kind yet... I just cant decide if i want it to be sealed or vented. Im not making a wall, and plan to do it with fiberglass. im used to making sealed enclosures and listening to them slam!! i have not made to many vented ones nor am i a fan of them, mainly cause around here i havent herd of any good ones.

So the questions comes, should i make it sealed or ported?

What do you think is better overall?
