Yea so after bartending and "DJing" with just my laptop and some audio stuff i had layin around i think i found a new hobby. Well maybe 2 new ones.
Anywase, went out and got me a Numark Controller with virtual DJ and Numark Cue from a radio dj for 150$
Also got another 4 chan mixer and fader that i got.
Maybe going to look at some Pa speakers or debatin makin some.
For now im on a tight budget and we will see how this goes.
With about an hour of practice on the controller last night i was gettin pretty good at layin some stuff down. Not going to post anything yet but soon if it get lagit to listen to it i will throw it up here.
Anyone got any dj experiance? what you runnin?
Also anyone got any ideas of some good songs to mash up or even remixed. Was thinkin about makin some really heavy bass songs and seein how that goes.
Anyhoo im just rambling

yea i know the tl is the only way to go but i can not find one that anyone has around here
-
if it was up to me i would make it to wear it fits in the hole for the back seat meter it then flip it around if its louder towards the front keep it and seal it off but it realy depends on the car ive done both and diffrent results each time
yea thats what i wanna do, just got to find a meter.
a think i may have found one so it should be good hopefully.

IM going with a few people, trying to get a lil somethen together to compete but anyone going?

Im pretty sure the only way ull fit a t-line for 2 subs in your trunk is if you make the box to where the subs mounting holes are in the rear package tray. Then have the ports firing into the fold down seat area.
its not for 2 subs,
its for 1 re se 12"
-
if your box fits perfect it the back seat hole port/sub in the cab but if not face em back
i have yet to make the box so i can do whatever,
but your sayen have both the sub and port firing into the cab is the best with t-lines in a car?
-
Maken a t-line for a comp next weekend.
for anyone who has made one before do you think it would be best for the sub and port to be firing in the cab or sub in trunk port in cab, or sub in cab port in trunk, or both in trunk.
input would be awsome.
thanks

how do you have your alarm hooked up to your door locks?
-
all i have to do is call a number and they will unlock it?
if thats all
i can do it for ya
-
They were wired at 2ohms
maybe you just had a bad amp,
but try to spell out how yo had them all hooked up.
-
you the man
-
probly thinken that 1 ohm load was not a good idea
but no reallly good question
-
its a capacitor, if you got some soldering skills you could do it yourself but i would send it out and have someone who has done it before and fix it. i would not let the amp see any power untill the capacitor is soldered on.
-
i usualy mesure from the center of the back of the sub.
and also i would stick to the fs of the sub. you will be suprised how good it will sound even at that higher feq.
if its to high for you, you can also line the box in stuffing to slow the waves down to make it tuned lower anywase.
other then that just try and see how it comes.
only can learn by doing yourself.

So hear is the scoop, To make things simple is there anyway (for example) to have a left chan have a high pass filter and right chan to have a low pass filter on a computer? I can do it in audacity but how i want it to work is if im playen live music off like windows media player or somethen.
Anyway this is possible?
Thanks, Cliff
