The power wire is on dc voltage, while the speaker wire is on ac voltage. Ac voltage can use a smaller wires at same voltage of power wire
Don't think that is true.
Its all about the input voltage being around 13 so to get 2 kwatts you going to be 150 plus amps. Now on the output side of your amp it is ac and also a higher voltage around 63v(if running at 2 ohms) so you only have 31 amps of current going through your wire.
Also you have a much longer distance from your bat to your amp then your amp to your sub. The wire has a resistance through it naturally so if you have a long run and need allot of current your going to have a big power lead.

are you using the plans i gave you? or diffrent ones? and yes you can either cut the port length down, or either add some internal volume to it by means of 2x or somethen else.

do you have domelight supervision hooked up? if so is it hooked up to a door trigger? if so is it isolated with a diode?

Like he said, we need more info on your alarm. Viper is part of DEI so anything clifford viper or python and some valet stuff are all interchanable. do your remotes power on? Like make any noice or show any signs of them working?

I take CVR's. They have a Sens. DB level of 89.1, as opposed to the RE sub(87.6). Doesn't that have to do with the "loudness" of a sub? Higher being louder when powered with the same wattage. If I'm wrong, somebody kick some knowledge. Also the CVR's r 500 RMS, as opposed to the 300 of the RE sub. Even if you don't fully power now, you can just buy stronger amp(s) later, instead of replacing both the subs/amp as you would IF you wanted to upgrade from the RE's.
I herd somethen similar to this, like every 3 db it goes up it takes half the power to get the same output. I dont know if this is true but i think it is. someone please correct me?

wow so now its allmost 50/50 dose anyone know the efficency on the re se's? Ive seen around 86 and 83 depending on where i look. ive herd that every 3 you go up on the spl rating it takes half the power to get the same output. is this true?

Type r i think would be nice but the RE has a lil higher RMS handling, and also a little higher sensitivity level. Anyone got any feedback on these 2 subs? Plan on running both 2 ohm versions.

im assuming he ment 2 12s and that in a sealed box would be amazing if true.
