this guy has his hooked up to 2 12" lanzar opti drive subs with 2 old ass 600 watt poweracoustik amps LT620/2 in a 1978 caprice and his car pounds hella hard. and from what i have heard the brands he has isnt good at all.

the hc 600 is the size of a motor cycle battery but ill probably just do the big 3 and when i get some extra cash ill just replace the batt. up front. thanks for the advice everyone it helps.

they are 2 alpine type r 15s mtx amp but in changing to the audiobahn all mtx 6x8x & 6x9 rinning to my deck.

i was told that the cap is a 2.5 farad cap. but my prob is when i play my music the lights dim even with the hc600 power cell im not running anything major i have 2 type r 15s (new style) in box built to specs. and a mtx ta7801 mono block amp with a 4gauge amp kit. and im thinking of changing out the amp with a audiobahn 2300hcx. but i dont know if that will make them dim more.

i think my pioneer has a 4v pre out. i like it but there is to many hidden options. im not a big fan of kenwood however i havent used one in over 6 years. i was wondering about the alpine because i got it free and it was new.i just dont want to make the mistake of selling the better one.

ok i have 2 alpine type r 15s in a ported box built to specs and im getting ready to put a audiobahn a2300hcx 2400 watt rms @ 1ohm amp. i have a kinetik hc600 powercell and i also have a spl 2.4 farad cap. which of the 2 are better? im also unable to decided between decks i have a pioneer deh-p5900ib and a alpine cda-9856. im in the process of changing my system. advice would be great

I have been looking at all these premade systems they all say 5.1 6.1 7.1 and they all have 5 speakers and 1 sub whats diff about these systems pros and cons was woundering.
