I havnt decided from TypeR or TypeX yet. Im going to use 10" or 12" subs havnt choosen yet. Next quest how to shield the subs and speakers from harming the TV. center channel will be above tv and sub box was gonna hold the tv as a stand. Im going to make a alpine home theater set-up. I know home theater runs normally off 8ohms but i found a couple recievers that accpet 4 or 8 ohm spearkers. my question is how big do i need to make the enclosure for the componets. i havnt decided on 5.25 or 6.5 yet i wanna do one componentset per box and 2 for the center channel. what i need is box demission. made out of 3/4 mdf any help would be good alpine dosnt suply this info on there website.

someone told me to do the big 3 to get more power from my systemit was something like ground to the battery and something else does anybody know about that.
