i use limewire too, but my comp is incredible (my lil baby) its a year old and i spent ALOT on it, so its got a bomb ass burner

burned cds quality has alot to do with the cd itself, the way ur burning it, the speed, program ur using, the burner...when i burn cd's mine sound just as good as a regular cd u buy from the store

dont listen to brands, imo every brand has something good going for them...it does pound i use 2 12" cvt's on a kenwood amp, and i can throw in anything and have it hit as hard as jeezy, and sound clean doing so

i payed 60 for mine on ebay, mine is soundstream

works hella good for me, perfect for country, old rock, anything that has bass, but you cant hear it really, just be careful tho, they are strong

this guy has his hooked up to 2 12" lanzar opti drive subs with 2 old ass 600 watt poweracoustik amps LT620/2 in a 1978 caprice and his car pounds hella hard. and from what i have heard the brands he has isnt good at all.

I only use mine for country, metal, oldies.. any music that is lacking in the low-end category. Works great though... Just depends on the kind of tunes you're listening to.

From the sounds of it looks like your electrical system needs to be upgraded. The basic Big3. Plus your gonna want to go 1/0 if you plan on running an Audiobahn amp (those amps are whores). An alt upgrade and a second battery is going to be your best to stop the lights dimming. Not sure if the Kinetik 600 will fit up front if so put that there and run a second battery to the back a 2400 if possible. Your running 15's and unless they are a flea market brand that is not a small system. A small system is a single 10 or 12 sealed off of 100 watts. That should help your lights from dimming and if your lucky probably get a little lower and a little louder.

the hc 600 is the size of a motor cycle battery but ill probably just do the big 3 and when i get some extra cash ill just replace the batt. up front.

x 2... power caps like a 1 farad would hurt you more than just having a cell. If you are going to do it.. might as well do it right..

i was told that the cap is a 2.5 farad cap. but my prob is when i play my music the lights dim even with the hc600

power cell im not running anything major i have 2 type r 15s (new style) in box built to specs. and a mtx ta7801 mono block amp with a 4gauge amp kit. and im thinking of changing out the amp with a audiobahn 2300hcx. but i dont know if that will make them dim more.

Go with the Pioneer OR a Kenwood eXelon KDC-x591, x592, x691, x692, x791, x792, x891, x892, or x991 x992.

The ones that are the "500" series are from 2007 so maybe find one cheap left over but new on ebay/store, the "600" series is the 2008 lineup.

I had the Alpine 9856 and the removal and installation of the faceplate was enough to make me not want to do it which defeats the purpose of a det. face deck....it's also only 2V preouts whereas most the others metnioned are 4v or 5v preouts, which makes a diff if you have heard it.

i think my pioneer has a 4v pre out. i like it but there is to many hidden options. im not a big fan of kenwood however i havent used one in over 6 years. i was wondering about the alpine because i got it free and it was new.i just dont want to make the mistake of selling the better one.

the kinetik hc600 equals 100 farad caps so go with it. as for the decks ......... man i don't know ..... both pioneer and alpine makes some of the best decks. i say choose whichever one has the most features you like.

ok i have 2 alpine type r 15s in a ported box built to specs and im getting ready to put a audiobahn a2300hcx 2400 watt rms @ 1ohm amp. i have a kinetik hc600 powercell and i also have a spl 2.4 farad cap. which of the 2 are better? im also unable to decided between decks i have a pioneer deh-p5900ib and a alpine cda-9856. im in the process of changing my system. advice would be great
