No turn

I did some measuring today and the port wall is 13.5" long and the opening at the back is 8.75"
-
Pro is thicker than regular damplifier. If your only doi.g the doors then 1 or 2 layers of damp should be ok
-
Im doin this from my phone so heres what I got
-
And I cant do a hairtrick.
-
Ok this is what I could get
-
Yes the piece behind the double is 12in. And I do have a 45 in the port corner
-
I used Torres to design the box and it told me physical port length 12in so thats how long the port wall is behind the double baffle. What I put in for port was 20in
-
No clipping dd1 tuned. Ive got 4 obsidian 15" dual 2s wired in series parallel at 1ohm on my rd 3250
-
The box I built is 49wide x 35tall x 23deep with a port thats 33.5tall x 6.5wide x 20deep it gives me 13.57cubes after displacement of subs and port. I didnt factor in the braces which are 33.5 x 1.25 and 20.75 x 1.25 round wood.

What exactly causes this? Im mainly asking because I think I have some in my new wall.

My 02 silverado has a stock 105a alt and im running 1 hc1400 and 2 hc2400 and not over heating it. Ive got all 1/0 wire and rd 3250 and no problems

What kind of vehicle is it?

Get Torres box tuning calculator off of here it will help you out. Just read the tutorials and youll get it

I've got 2000 grit from wal-mart
-
They are great for sound quality. And that box you mentioned should work good mine is over 9 cubes and it seems too big
-
I cant say what they compare to, but you should be impressed with them. And if you ever decide to upgrade to something else I may be a potential buyer of the quantums. : )
-
Heres the roof. I didnt get pics of the doors.
-
Yes the d is for dual coils

I just recently installed ss on my front and rear doors of my silverado. I used one layer of damplifier on the doors and it helped ALOT. But today I had to have my headliner redone, so I figured id do the roof. I did 2 layers of damp pro on the roof. Before my roof sounded like tapping on a tin can, but now its like banging on an inch thick piece of wood. Everything sounds so much better. Thank you second skin for making great products!!!!

Just do two obsidian 15s. 600Watts a piece and would do well on 1000Watts.
