  1. It's a 99 Monte Carlo. What is rattling is not the tail lights, but the bar that runs across the back with the reverse lights and all. Since my subs are facing the rear, I figured some sound deadener on the rear hatch would HELP, but I also wanted something I could do to that bar to end the rattling.
  2. I know for certain I cannot be the only person with this issue. What helps? Sound deadener, vinyl, tail light mods? What?
  3. They play, just they're definitely not 500 watts. The wires are all good.
  4. Voltage drop? It's stock alt/battery. & believe me, I've checked and rechecked a dozen times. All the polarity is correct and it is in parallel circuit.
  5. Near St. Joseph, MO. But I'm busy tomorrow. I have 2 amps, could that be it? Or like not sufficient battery power or anything? The one amp only runs the 6x9's & door speakers.
  6. Believe me, I have. I'm stumped. That's why I'm here. & lol way more than 3 times for sure.
  7. No the subs play and all.
  8. If it were a gain/phase problem, then it wouldn't sound just fine solo. These subs aren't getting the 500 watts.
  9. Gain is like sensitivity I think. Sound right? What could be my issue here anyways? At first, one sub wouldn't play, I opened the box, and I had forgotten to plug it in. Then, it still wouldn't play, and I had forgotten to plug in the - terminal. FAIL. Could I have damaged the amp?
  10. The gain is full (cause I'm not getting loud sound!) & ahh. I see. & I believe so it's either that or 180. What is phase anyways?
  11. The options on the back are the gain, the punch bass or something, and the phase. I don't know about them. But, I figured they were fine since the subs sound fine solo.
  12. It's option 1- in parallel, not series.
  13. I believe it's a 2 Ohm load.
  14. The polarity is all correct I've checked all that.
