Just got contacted by Mechman, So all is good now

Well as I said, I left them a message two days ago and they haven't returned my call yet, hence the title "Is Mechman Away" :-)

Noobdie noob here. I sent my alternator for repairs to them over a week ago and haven't heard anything from them yet. My email from last night and the message I left them two days ago also went unanswered. While I understand they could be eyeballs deep in work, but I am actually having a situation here. See, I have no way to figure out if my alternator was actually delivered by USPS because even though I sent my package by Priority mail, it's not trackable online. My post office isn't too keen on providing me delivery info either. They like to say "oh, you should have bought the delivery confirmation service when you sent the package". Now I'm on the verge of filing an insurance claim with USPS, so Is there any way of figuring out before hand if Mechman got my package? Thanks guys.
