The laugh is on him, in his haste to be a Linear Power hater he just showed his ignorance of electronic circuitry, he can't even tell an ouput stage from a power supply stage. Anyone can see from the circuitry that the fuses are on each output channel and provide the protection for each channel on the 30 x 4 watt amp. This was a common arrangement in those days from protection, Rockford Fosgate used 3 amp fuses on their speaker wiring harness on the Punch 150 and used 5 amp fuses between the power supply and each rail voltage to each channel. Nothing wrong with the three amp fuses in the output stage a 30 x 4 watt amp.
No this amp was no power house, it wasn't made to be , it was for running full range and it made its rated power and a little more too.
