  1. Front battery reads 14.6 and rear battery reads 12.5 at the same time. Front is stock, the rear is a Shuriken bt-100. Have 2 runs to back. Back battery is grounded to front battery. Am I doing something wrong. Im running knu 1/0 kca and big 3 is done..
  2. Ok thanks Pro 7 and all the other guys for your help! Ill look into this cc-1 and see if someone near me has one. If not, ill just have to guesstimate it!
  3. Well it must,be nice to have one but unfortunately, I dont and probably never will anytime soon! Some of us just can't afford certain things, and I would hate to buy something only to use it once.
  4. Ok thanks, but since im a noob when it comes to crossovers, how do I know whats my setpoint or where to cut it off? The frequency is I believe 5,000 to 21,000 on the tweeters and yes, im just running the tweets off of 2 channels on the amp. Also, they came with little transistors, do I install these too?
  5. need some help here guys!!
  6. I have a pair of Crunch CRBT-4 Supertweeters that I am going to run on a MB Quart 4.60 amp. Only going to use channels 1/2. Where should I set my xover point on the amp?? Thanks for any help!!
  7. I have no quality input but I did just wanna say that is a clean ass box! The knockoffs does it justice. I been seeing ALOT of guys bringing the knockoff game back in! Cudos man! Looks lovely and good luck on the build!
  8. Once the wedding and honeymoon are done I can mess around a little bit more. Im looking into DC or Sundown!
  9. Wow Steve! Im honored u posted! So when I want to upgrade, just take out the distro? Because I DONT plan to keep these amps or sub stage. Just wanted to atleast start from somewhere, learn as I go and upgrade in the future but without the hassle of pulling wire back out!
  10. AMI, I understand your point but wouldnt it be a waste to put the 4ga in and then have to take it back out later on to put 1/0 in? As I stated, I do plan to upgrade later on and if it doesnt cause any issues mechanically as stated from the other posters then this would be a better option for me to just go ahead and run the 1/0
  11. Thanks for the help guys but getlocivic sold me a nice Shuriken BT-100!!!!
  12. Ok thanks for all the help guys! I just wanted to know and also keep the upgrading window open!!! Thanks again for all your help!
  13. I understand, but I just want to have that window open for upgrading in the future. Also, I didnt know they made ANL fuses that small! Lol. Im still learning as u see!!
  14. Reason I asked is that ive seen alot of builds with 1/0 with their 4ch amps and I have alot of 1/0 and didn't want to buy extra wire to run 4ga if I didnt need to. Why should I not run it? Would it cause problems for me to run 1/0 instead of 4Ga?
  15. I have a Planet Audio BB150.4 and wanted to use 1/0wire with 2 reducers (1/0-4Ga) instead of just 4ga wire. When fusing, what size fuse to use since I already have (2) 30 amp fuses on the amp? Would a large ANL fuse work in this situation?
  16. thanks a ton for all the logical arguments! Im not goin to mix wet and dry.. I see all the good and bad points!!!
  17. Yeah im DEFINITELY not goin to mix wet and dry! But I see what you guys mean now. Wasnt for sure if I could mix the sizes though of the same brand of battery.
  18. Thanks guys and getlow, I just noticed u had that d975. Appreciate the help.
  19. Is it ok to run different sized batteries in the rear? For example, if I had (1) Shuriken BT-100 and (1) Shuriken BT-20, can you use them together as in pos to pos and neg to neg? Or does it HAVE to be the same size? Just asking because I got the little guy just laying around and dont wanna sell it.
  20. How much we talking? And I was thinking something a little bigger for the front. But it could maybe get me started..
  21. Still interested in looking!!! Need asap!
  22. Congrads! I know it was a pita, but definately worth it! Glad you were persistent!! I give those titties 4 thumbs up!! (in my Cheppelle voice!)
