  1. Also sundowns pricing has always been fair even at MRPS!

SA for 200 outperforms woofers that go for 400+

Ill say... My E series have features I've never seen before in a entry level woofer, their thermal handling is great! I actually want to get a bigger amp so I can have excuse to upgrade to SA's lol, from rf T500bdcp & 2 E series 12's to a set of SA 15 on a v.3 1500 :) only need to sell current setup and wait on v.3's and 150 post count haha

  2. I have my 2 E12's on my rockford T500-1bdcp. They absolutely love what they are getting which I would say is about 700w.

I would recommend you get a 1000w rms amplifier, they seem like they could take more but idk if they will take 1500w rms, its your call but I know they get plenty loud off of less than rms power.

Imo I think its mostly in the enclosure, my prefab I had and this box I just built is a night and day difference in extension, response, and power handling.

  3. No never buy a capacitor.they are worthless and they rob from your power supply.

I suggest either running at 4 ohms for better efficiency or get some xs power batteries and try to upgrade your alternator... One ohm at 1000w is definitely straining your boats charging system.

Maybe make sure your power and ground wires are big enough (at least 4 gauge) not just the wires to the amp either you want the engine grounds and the alternator charging wire to be 4 gauge also

  4. Ok you need something to maintain the battery I'm not familiar with boats though..you might need to do something like a couple xs power batteries and a xs charger then you could have the charge last you while your out on the water.

You definitely don't want to keep letting the system do what its doing, this will cause something to be damaged.most likely the amp or subwoofer. Discharging the battery like that can damage it also.

    Good luck man.
