yeah i figured as much. someone told me once you can do an algorithm of some variety that'll let you use the weighting system in order to measure higher spl. like right now if i use it all click my head-unit up to about 23 volume and itll max the meter out, the head-unit goes up to 35 but ill look around although most shops in st louis specialize in low end audio.

yeah i'm well aware of that. but i was watching the tv show sons of guns and they had the exact same computer as me and they were using a meter to measure the effectiveness of silencers

im looking for a decent metering software that'd be compatible with a macbook pro 2010 model. when i try googling such device it comes up with mostly spam or something out of context. any ideas other than "buy a windows" will be greatly appreciated thanks!
