ok on my comp im using these shitty speakers...im thinking about using a simple 12 inch sub in a sealed box...like a type R or somthing...and for the amp can i use my computer power suply...its 12v ...and for the rca's is there any adapters to change my audio card jack(single headphone like jack) into rca's??.. if there is any sites that cover this wanna link it over and ill take a look... thanks steveyblack

i like this bill, i know i get destracted when i have anything in my hands while im walking, back in the gameboy days i used to run into stuff because of looking down at it...its good but the fine shouldnt be that much(25$ or if that) off topic:macs can gett annoying, like at school there is alot of them and i get pissed at them alot.. i went throught half of a cart(around 10 out of 25) before finding one that acually booted up...and there is a huge list for computers to be fixxed in out computer department, mostly macs(some dell laptops due to dropping or someone delelted something they shouldnt of)

not mine but it looks good as of now Well i was contacted by a local who had heard about some of the work i had been doing. It required very little and all i was really doing was hooking up systems. No fabrication no nothing. Pretty simple to me. So he calls me up and says he has a job for me. I said ok what is it? He made me come over to see for my self i get there and he has a few cars in the drive so i figure its gonna be one of them... Takes me into the garage and shows me a 65 mustang that hes redoing. He told me what he wanted done and i said well im not sure if i can do all this fabrication, false floor in the trunk, all out new kicks with speaker mounts added, put a radio in a glove box that didnt exist. I am about half way done with the car now. I have the trunk completly done, which was a first time carpeting for me and i think it came out fantastically and so does he. So onto the kicks. I got the kicks from his car which were first of all HUGE and second of all torn to shit. so i came on line and started learning. Heres what i recieved. Here is the tape i used (2 Layers i had issues with the tape later on ) Here is after 3 coats of resin and matt ( i later learned i was using the shitty matt and added a layer of random stranded matt) Here is after sanding and cutting (ROUGHLY) the new kicks. I still have to finish sanding, fleece it, build the speaker mounts, add body filler, sand my ass off, prep for paint and then paint. All which will be done tomarrow hopefully. If any one wants to see the trunk ill post that too..... well my brother is looking to upgrade from his shitbahns(2 12's off a 400 watt amp) and we are looking into a 12" btlor a 15btl, and then upgrading in the future to 2 btl's. but anyways he has a neon and im wondering what way to point the port, because i dont see a definate answer...and with the box i was thinking if its a 12 give it 2cubic feet and if its a 15 give it 3.3 or so cubic feet, how does that sound? thanks steveyblack

hey all im steve. im 16 come feb .I been in car audio for about 1.5 years, and just sunk a job at a local place doing some simple installs. I do work on my bro's car, i acually started with his car, he got it installed by the im working at come feb. i Put in another amp into his car, upgraded all the wires, rca's, and grounds.i also put in a full system in my friends Tc. some other small work also..i dont got a car yet, so no working on my own stuff.=] the reason i came over here is that ca.com can get immature, annoying, and if there is any good info is buried under abunch of crap... well nice to be here, seems cool, and once i buy a car(within a half a year) i should be putting a bunch of logs on here steveblack
