    i go to school for this shit. haha :P

    you can always get back the original file bit and sample rate (16bit CD's w/ 44.1khz sample rate)

    but you can never go up in bit depth and sample rate (like a 32 bit 96khz) because you will get horrible chops and other shit will go wrong.

    there is an AMAZING quality file (but I'm blanking on what it is) but the file size is HUGE.

    best bet is to go just straight mp3.

    its what i use.

    AHA!!! Its the .FLAC file name. those things are crazy great quality but take up stupid amounts of space.

    use L brackets to screw the box as a whole, down.
    I'm already using them. Maybe the floor of my hatch isn't steady enough? Because it has the plastic false floor that seperates the box from the spare tire well..
    thats probably why :P the false floor doesn't allow the screw to actually attach to anything that will hold it steady xP

    This. Or maybe the bracing snapped inside?

    Nope, bracings good. I'm thinking it's the false floor jumping. What can I do to secure it?

    take out your false floor and secure it to the vehicle

    or

    get longer screws but obviously watch out to make sure you don't puncture your gas tank or anything important.

    If you have the proper space and build a good box the 4 15s should be louder.

    Ditch the idea of adding 10s, if you want more "higher" bass look into getting a good set of mid bass speakers.

    This might get locked because you kinda have a vs thread.

    exactly this entire post.

    more cone area = more potential (in very short in my mind at least)

    and yeah this thread probably will unfortunately get locked =/

    i seem to get stuck in this mentality all the time also

    i think what he's saying is you can make practically any system into a high powered system.

    and to not ask for a name brand system like; dc audio 9k powering 4 dc level 5's.

    this, but i mean for comparison, like which gets louder dc or sundown? because then that becomes a vs. thread.
