  1. personally, i havent heard w3's in a long time, and from what i remember, they hit prett well and did it clearly.

however, the type R's which im so-so about them, also can rumble pretty well.

but if your going to be using an mrp-m500 i would just keep the brand names matched up and go with the type R's.

  2. Wow shocked no one responded. Usually reps always respond when someone ask for prices.

just looking for a used one (due to finances and having started college about 1-1/2 months ago)

cheaper, works, and the guy i was going to buy from a few weeks ago (while i was getting the last of my tax returns) ended up selling locally

    xP

  3. I'm looking to buy a single 15" DC Audio XL or a level 5 (if the price is right)

    only looking to spend ~$300-$350.

    SPECIFICATIONS THAT I REQUIRE:

    - 15" (Mandatory)

    - XL (nothing less like level 4's with 5 soft parts etc. etc.)

    - dual 2 ohm VC's (i dont have a .5 ohm stable amp otherwise i'd like a dual 1)

    THINGS THAT IM FLEXIBLE ON:

    - Dust cap color (would prefer red)

    - higher level baskets/motors

    - would like dual leads, but can handle it if its not

please post or PM for quickest response.

    thanks again :)

  4. From my understanding the xmax of the sub is irrelevent to being able to play lows if your tuned low the sub will move less the closer you play to tuning, if your tuned to 22hz then you should be able to play 22hz no problem, now if you want to tune to 36hz and still play very low into the 20s then youd need a sub with a higher xmax and stiffer suspension so you wont unload the suspension or possibly bottom out the coil, I wouldnt try to get very low with.those subs as the power handeling and motor force isnt there. Maybe someone with.more experience will chime in and clear things up a bit.

sounds pretty clear to me lol

    helped me out anyways
