    To clarify, not looking for knock off brand garbage. Just an older head unit from a reputable brand for around 150-200. For instance I used to have an old avh5700dvd I picked up for 200 and absolutely loved it.

    THANKS! The only thing is, will I still be able to run the head unit to power all 4 speakers (also planning on replacing speakers). I'm guessing not because I am going to need to connect the high-to-low converter to one of the channels...

    That sounds easy enough... but will I still be able to run the head unit to all 4 speakers with the line output converter?

    I am going to do an install in a friends 2002 Yukon XL without bose system or stock subwoofer. I was wondering if there will be RCA outputs in the back of the head unit or if there is any other way to use to the stock headunit on aftermarket amp/sub? Or will I need to buy a new HU? Thanks!
