just a question..... y do you NEED a cheap flip out. you know the cheap ones will break in like 3 months right
To clarify, not looking for knock off brand garbage. Just an older head unit from a reputable brand for around 150-200.
For instance I used to have an old avh5700dvd I picked up for 200 and absolutely loved it.

need a cheap flip out head unit. Doesn't matter how old. Let me know what you have!

just like the title says I want the rockford t1 comps or similar speakers. Need them to run off 100rms per side. Let me know what you got!

Thanks fellas. I'll hit you up if I have questions later on

You will need a High-to-low level converter. It basically converts the speaker signal (high) to RCA outputs (low). You will also need a trigger module (remote turn-on) so that you don't have to manually use a switch every time you want bass (and run the risk of accidentally leaving the amp on when you are done using it). I went ahead and found what you would need to buy and the prices on these are pretty decent.

If you need any more advice or help installing these, shoot me a PM and i'll do my best
THANKS!
The only thing is, will I still be able to run the head unit to power all 4 speakers (also planning on replacing speakers). I'm guessing not because I am going to need to connect the high-to-low converter to one of the channels...

That sounds easy enough... but will I still be able to run the head unit to all 4 speakers with the line output converter?

I am going to do an install in a friends 2002 Yukon XL without bose system or stock subwoofer. I was wondering if there will be RCA outputs in the back of the head unit or if there is any other way to use to the stock headunit on aftermarket amp/sub? Or will I need to buy a new HU?
Thanks!

I would be all over those rainbows but I only have room for two 6.5" speakers

Yes I was definitely considering the rockford t2 component set. Thanks. Any other suggestions?

no more than around 200 dollars. Want these to get loud. Anyone have anything that might interest me?

Need something different than a 12. Looking for a 15 or 8 inch sub that handles around 500rms and needs to be D4 VCs.
Let me know what you have... budget of around 150.
Thanks
