This is due to the fact that those are no regular horses, but the rare breed known as the Black-Hildalgo-Viggo-Mortensen-Riding-Stallion, which have unsurpassed HP boost capabilities for any car.
Oh yeah I heard of those! Aren't they bred with larger noses and throats for better air intake? Shit, it all makes sense now!

It's been a long night... Probably belongs in the "things that piss you off" thread, but oh well. Have a seat, it's story time.
- Going through ideas for next build. Decide to see if smartphones can be controlled with a separate touchscreen.
- Scour Youtube for hours.
- Found various methods, all that require jailbreaking. Meh. Don't really wanna do that.
- Search even more for methods without jailbreaking. Found none.
- Decided jailbreaking couldn't be that bad. Go back to website selling best looking kit.
- Kit has been discontinued.
- Scour even more, found nothing.
- Remember Pioneer has AppRadio, but it always seemed dumb.
- Watched a few videos, does exactly what I want.
- Furthermore, find out AppRadio 3 comes out this year. Will probably be out before I start driving again and get another car.
- MFW I realized how much time I wasted.

Just reading through this again. If I'm understanding the results correctly, in a musical build where there is no extra room for an extra battery, a capacitor would suffice if extra power is needed?
Edit - May have been said already, I'm just making sure my thinking is correct.

Technically, I had a Dual bandpass box that was amplified. It served it's purpose and definitely added to the music. But as far as a REAL amp and not a box combo, mine was a Rockford Fosgate R600-5. Nice and simple. Worked great. Had it wired up at 4 ohms (60w x 4) for the full range and 2 ohms (300w) for the subs. Definitely planning on sticking with Fosgate amps.

Experiment.
Was using these as computer speakers til they blew.
So I replaced them with this, powered by the stereo the last speakers came with.
And even tuned the box (literally) to 32hz. Surprisingly it worked out to 1cuft and a toilet paper tube was the perfect size.

Watched the vid last night. I haven't seen such a shoddy job in my life, man. Awesome of you to set your friend up with the system he should've had in the first place!
I do have one question. What all goes into setting up the .3 besides just crossover points? I saw your vid with the 6 mic array and I downloaded the software just to mess around with it, but I'm guessing it's gonna take getting the processor and tinkering around with it in a car to really get a feel for it.

trust me, i wish they would recover. Do you guys understand how much work it will be to replace those? 4 of them are behind T15k #1 and under T15k #2 ......and attached to buss bars. See the link in the first post i just made and you will understand how i am not looking forward to this, other then the outcome.
