    That's just two. And I'm considering 4 in a 4th order.
The price is the main thing that's got me on them. If you buy 4 or more they're $210 a piece. Is there anything that might be better in that range? They're supposed to take 800wrms a piece, and I'm considering some Fosgate power for them, unless I find something at a better deal. Like I said, it'll be awhile but I like having a basic idea of what I want.
  2. I found a pretty good deal on some Dayton Titanic 15s at Parts-Express. Has anyone had any personal experience with them? It'll be 6 months to a year until I do a big build, but I want to go ahead and start my planning stage. I want to run 4. From what I've heard to look for their specs make them seem like a good candidate for a 4th order, but I'm not sure if I have enough room for it without chopping my rear deck. The most room I can get out of my rear seat right now is 40x38X30", which was roughly measured with a yard stick just to get an idea of what I'm working with.

Any advice guys? I've seen a video of two Titanics, not sure how many watts they were running or what the box specs were but they do some work. I was more impressed with them than what I was considering before. I just wanna weigh my options before i jump into something.

  3. Factory tint is non Metalized, and is more for privacy, it is not really window tint film, it is just a layer built into the glass. Also 32% sounds odd, I usually deal with 35%.

The law in Ga is 32%. I'm never actually seen 32% though. I'm going a little darker, but just to 20 in the back and 35 in the front. I just thought that was odd.

  4. Diamond tunnel....yes, cube, lol

Ok. Now I don't feel like a complete idiot. Lol.

I take it these aren't the easiest to calculate on your own? It doesn't look easy. It looks like a pain in the ass. But I am very interested in building one and having something a little different in my 'bu.

Oh, I was being sarcastic. I don't see how you could logically guess cube, lol. Square and diamond are the same minus orientation

I'm not quite sure why I've always heard it called a cube, now that you mention it...

    I've heard they could be both 6th order or 4th. What exactly is the difference? Isn't a 4th sealed/ported and a 6th ported/ported?

I'm a little new to this, if you hadn't already noticed.

  5. I thought about that too. I don't have the room for one like that, however.

I have high hopes and dreams of walling my Malibu, and I'm just going through my options. These look interesting, so I figured it was atleast worth asking to get an idea of what it takes.

  7. It's got a diamond in the middle with the all the subs facing each other. I probably sound like a noob right now, but that's the only way I can think to describe it. I've always heard the term "bass cube" so I assumed everyone knew what it was.

    My bad guys.

  8. What exactly is a bass cube? I've always wondered about this. What kind of enclosure are they considered? What makes a sub a good candidate for one? What exactly do you wanna go for as far as planning and building one?

  9. You NINJA'd me!! lol

Yeah- that one. Viscous. hahaha! What a way to get your first demo of a loud ride. You will never get rid of the audio bug now. lol

Never man, never. Like I said, I would love to just sit in their shop and learn shit. Kenny is a really cool guy. I'm not too fond of the other owner. He's a;right, but he's the one that comes off really pushy about "This is what you should use" and whatnot.

  10. If you live around the Western side of Ga, you've probably heard of a shop called Revolution Kustomz.

I went by there to get a fuse for my girl's install, and remembered that I had always seen the giant orange Toyota truck that's one of the owner's and had always wanted a listen. I decided to go for it and asked for a demo. I'm not sure on all the technical stuff, but I believe everything in it is Vibe audio. It did have 12 12s in it before they did a rebuild, but now it has 18 10s in a four order wall. It was fucking amazing. He played a boosted version of "In the Air Tonight" for me. It had a little rumble towards the beginning, which made me slowly turn my had and look in the port at the speakers. To this he laughed and said, "Oh no, it gets better." Around then the bass hit. I almost jumped out of my seat, and all I could say was "HOLY SHIT! OH MY GOD!" over and over. I kid you not, he has around 6 inches of dash flex in that thing. I wish I had gotten a video, but didn't think about it til afterwards.

Oh yeah, I haven't even gotten to the best part yet. I thought I got a 150+ demo. Nope. I asked him what the TL gave it. He said they broke the last build's record at 164.8db at 37hz.

I might have gotten a fucking 160+ demo as my first big build demo.

    Ho. Lee. Shit.
