  1. The amp has always been warm to the touch regardless it being underneath my passenger seat or in the trunk. Noob question: What setting should i have the volt meter on and what numbers should I be looking for?
  2. So I've had the Alpine MRP M1000(1000 rms) paired with 2 12" Kenwood w3013ps (400 rms each) for about 8 months without a problem, but 3 days ago something happened and the amp is not working anymore. It all started while i was driving when the volume of my subs kept going up and down while no one was touching the volume on my deck or amp(placed in the trunk). Next day amp was doing the same thing, but after a stop somewhere I got back in my car, I heard the subwoofers make a faint noise then they stopped working. I checked all the wiring and fuses and everything is fine. The amp light is on but the subwoofers don't move. I tested the subwoofers with another amp and they work perfectly. Anyone have a clue on why my amp is still on but doesn't send any power to my subwoofers and what I can do to fix it? Thank you in advance.
