Well, that's not exactly good news. I wanted to order a DC Audio sub from TechForce Services but it looks like they are no longer stocking them.

Starting to think I'm not going to punish that poor sub with 1200 RMS, I'll play it safe and grab an RE Audio SXX12D2 unless there's something better for under $250.

But you had two I take it? This is just one going on that amp. @AB18VFL It's the wattage I'm pushing that I'm worried about, not the impedance.

Building a new single-sub system for my daily-driver. I'm on a budget som I'm going with a Hifonics BRZ1200.1D amp. Will wiring a Pioneer Champion Pro TS-W3002D2 down to one ohm on that amp blow it or cause damage to it without adjusting the gain down? I'm fairly certain it can handle the additional 200w RMS, but I don't know if Pioneer has gotten worse in the 10 years since I have purchased one of their products..
