  1. First 8ight i disagree. becauae 4 of the terminals i get no signal... and 4 of the terminals i get signal... If the dd1 only reads the positive signal.. Then that means the positive ones are the only ones who give out signal. The signal isn't being shared over different terminals.

But what messes me up is maybe I have a switch on the 4/2 ch operation messed up. Because the outside diagram I hooked it up + - + - ect... But I never had ANY mid bass at all. And I switch it around according to what my dd1 says by detecting the signal since it can't detect from the negative terminal... After I switch it it sounds way better.

My apologies, had I read your original post more carefully I would have been aware. I thought perhaps your were just detecting negative feedback. This could be a long thread.

  2. good shit. I still have my old PC Magazine's from 90,91,92,93, etc.... I love going thru them every now and then to read up on the lastest and great 486 dx4 100MHZ cpu raw speed numbers, and the 93 ones are great for Pentium 60 reviews

I still have a few old books about computer service and repair (all at least pre-Windows XP). Interesting to see how little has changed but yet how much, all of the same parts are there but the I/O and specs have gone nuts!

  3. I knew that the 720/PS4 etc. would be dated as soon as they came out. What's new? Don't buy a console. Seriously, don't. Not for you, your kids, or anyone else!

It has it's demographic. Some people just don't want to deal with the complexity of setting up a rig for something like this and just want to sit down and turn it on and have at it. It still has its place. But yes, seems outdated right out the get-go. But it has to retain it's price-point somehow.

They finish designing these consoles long before release, they just can't be modern. I know what they cater to, that's the problem, it's a majority market that holds back software development because of its decade long hardware cycle. I suppose I see what you're saying about the price but isn't that why everything gets shitty eventually? LOL

To be fair not everyone can afford to upgrade every year or two. That is why consoles will always be the biggest sellers.

It's convenient in a world of convenience.

You can build a gaming PC for less than the cost of a new console that will crush said new console until the next generation comes out.

  6. i usually set my xbox or gaming device to the DMZ device and leave the gaming device to auto retrieve the IP address and DNS. DMZ allows ALL traffic, so anything that says NAT moderate to severe after that, is not from your end. this is a great guide, but i would suggest just setting your xbox/ps3 for the DMZ device and it will work golden, any connection issues after that is not on your end.

Thanks man, so basically it would be best to just do the DMZ host and leave the xbox to automatic? My only question is would I have to set the DMZ host to the xbox IP every time I start up? since you have to set it to the specific IP, or will it remain the same once I set it the first time?

Depending on your router doing this can cause issues with other devices on your network, just beware of that.

I thought that the only issues happened if you set a PC as the host since you would be more exposed to hacking? But that xbox's were alright?

I don't know about that I just know of people who have had problems with other devices working at all (failure to connect or pages not loading) after enabling DMZ mode on another device.
