steves got two rockford 2500s on each one. and i know most 2500 put out between 3200rms to 3600rms ( vaires outside those) lol just sayin. . . .why not a dc xl like 2200rms and over power or a lvl 5 is 2500rmsDo you know any info on them or if there taking any pre-orders? I've tried to make a decision on what sub or subs for my build and it seems I keep running into there unavailable...any suggestions on something comparable in or around the $800 range and I have right about 3300Watts rms to run with.

i dont think you have enough displacemtn for subs. my sister lvl 4 10 is .16 lol. my 18 is .26. so may wanna double check that. and where do you get a baffle of 1.25. tech 2 .75 is 1.5 and to my knowledge. may be wrong. you leave it at .75 and by says you want 1 extra baffle makes it 1.5 in the calc.Click the help button up top and find out. post a picture of what you come up with next

generally speaking odds are my db goes up? my car freq is like 52 i think so idk

ahh ok. but 5 and a 1/4 sounds bout right for 2k? and hopefully higher tuning boosts my db really trying to break a 145 haha

so keep box sie the same because when i get my 2k itll be better in the long run. . . what about 2800? "not the peak 2800" ??honestly, i'd go with the same net volume but readjust the tuning to the 38 range. with a bigger box your 1.2k would be better suited. moar power = smaller box. less power = bigger box. and the dc 2k will be "over" rms handling on the website, not the peak at 2800, but still. as far as the db +- goes, idk, you gotta test it

My current box is what i believe to be 5.25 net cubes and tuned to 31.15ish hz. I have a DC lvl 4 m2 18 on about 1200rms, a dc 2k in the future. By going from 5.25 cubes to 6 cubes and 31ish hz to 38-39 hz (as daily) will i notice a change/ db increase?

Title says it. Looking for a 2k at 1 ohm amp. cannot be more. (well crescendo is like 2225 or something lole thats fine) but must be a 1.5- 2k amp. good clean power! budget is 350 shipped. looking to buy on friday! let me know what you guys got!

Its two NIGHTSHADEv1 12" a sk1500.1, dual runs/inputs of 2/0, a shuriken bt-60 under the hood and a C&D 120ah in the rear.
The box is about 3.4cu@29hz. These are the first subs ive ever built from the ground up and i couldnt be happier with them:)

you cant bridge a mono amp. . . so assumming its only 2 ohm stable by itself. it says ~6000. but it doesnt say rms. so lets say 3000rms. which is what it is fused at. as n8 said. but the last question is even if it could do 3k. is it even clean. and how long can it hold out 3k lol. im sure its been explained by now not to get it but hell. my 2 cents
