What if I up my impedance? say to 8-ohms, or go crazy and find and amp that can do 16 ohms? do those exist?

I guess I could upgrade speakers...but I recently bought them to replace my old ones. Who makes insane high quality mids? What about sound processors?

Okay, so basically I set my high pass filter on both my h/u and my amp, O-scopped my gain and still at high volume, I can hear low notes is my speakers. Its not loud but because I'm friggin' picky and have OCD when it comes to sound quality, there's enough lows to make the mids sound muddy to me. What can I do to cut out the lows to my speakers completely? Sound processors? external crossovers? a chainsaw? *ps. When the woofers are a' flexin' I don't care but when they aren't...

bigger alts are harder to spin while under load, so yeah you'll probably notice some engine "sluggishness" while playing music full tilt. although i don' see how a HO alt will increase performance. if anything it'll degrade performance, slightly. they output barely higher voltage over stock (in most cases). Yeah that makes sense. So another question is, if I have and Ho alt, do I need to upgrade my battery? Or will the stock battery be fine?

So how will that affect my engine? I assume THe more power and Alt outputs the more HP it requires? I've also heard the HO alts increse engine performace via ignition.

Okay, well i found one from Singer Alternators that im going to get. However...knowing that the engine in a protege isnt doesnt have the most horsepower in the world, do yu fins that its a bit more sluggish with an HO alternator?
