I lucked out and this set of door panels I didnt do anything too. The 5.25's are just a simple change out, and the tweeters flush mount in either the factory tweeter location, or by simply removing the letter holder Man I never thoght about that! I'm definently going to look into that. What are they 1" tweets? An how much did you drop on those speakers they must sound unreal! I got stock speakers had pioneer 6x9s and now every speaker is blown. Looking at getting some speakers and runnin em off an alpine 4 Chanel I have. I'll say hearing a type r pound in the drive through at McDonald's when I was like 14 or 15 was what got me started. It pounds I haven't heard the w3 but I am sure you'll be happy with either the only thing you need to nail 100% is the box if you get a good box anything can slap.

I took a look at that man that's a nice. Build. I have some question could you pm ur #? I have some questions about that door panel. It looks nice and the 5.25 comps I thought they were 4" speakers did you modify the doors?

Don't know much about the jls but type rs love ported boxes my buddy used to have em and they slapped with his box for them. I've heard the jls sound incredible though

Hey I am going to be getting 4 8" dc level 2s running of an aq2200 at 2 ohms and eventually .5. I don't know which design would benefit the most. Aero ports or slot ports if someone could do a design that would be awesome. Thanks for any help FYI I listen to rap and love the low notes but got some info to tune it higher with 8s any help is good help thanks.

Thanks guys I haven't had the speakers powered at all just had stock stuff and forgot I had this amp just doing a bunch of upgrades. The fronts don't go 6.5 unless I wanna somehow cut up the frame which could be done. Im about to put it a dc level 4 18 and need some decent stuff to go along haha

I have blown both sets of speakers. I need a set of 4" or 4x6" and a pair of 6x9s for the back. I am powering them with an alpine mrp 240. An I am looking for some speakers that can take power. Lookin to spend 40-70$ give or take per pair. Just wondering what you guys recommend
