  1. I know you can get people to do box designs for free on here, but the build I am aiming for I feel is much to tricky for the box to be made free. IF you are a good designer and have lots of experience with sketch up and box building, please shoot me a PM and we can discuss prices. I know there are websites also that I can fork money out to, but im not interested in that route unless its a last chance option. post on here or send me a pm, thanks.
  2. asking $50 shipping included in price, i used it one time and found out that i needed more RCA inputs, trades are welcome. this thing is in EXCELLENT condition.
  3. right on, is 1 cu ft each for 2 alpine type r 10's tuned to 31 hz a good place to start as far as box goes for that car? These are the subs available to me at the moment.
  4. I need recommendations on what usually works best for hatch back vehicles, im about to design a simple box for a friend and wanted to check on here first as to what people used to get the best performance. sub up, port up? sub back, port back? sub up, port back? port up, sub back? or any forward positions. this is for 2 10's in the trunk of a 88 honda civic hatchback dx
  5. how much would i be looking at for a TC coil for it? im kinda bummed now that it seems this thing wont perform like it should. and 3.5 cu ft net im assuming?
  6. alright awesome, ill make a simple box for now until i can get some actual specs on it. i feel like 4 cu ft net tuned to 31hz will be okay. unless someone recommends otherwise?
  7. how would you go about measuring T/S specs? and what would be a safe box to make as to at least get the break in done (size of box and tuning)?
  8. what do you mean "would need to model" sorry, didn't quite catch what your looking for? I don't think that that is my exact sub, here is the link the link to the one i am getting. http://www.caraudioc...tc-spiders.html edit: TC says that these things like to be tuned low (around 20 hz) is this confirmed?
  9. Ive decided to go solo 15" for my build, which will allow me ALOT of box volume for it (between 5-6 cuft max). i was wondering if anybody has had any experience with this brand and what box this sub might like to see? Ive been thinking between 4-4.5 cu ft, but i wanted to see what you guys would recommend me to try and measure for? Ill be using about 2k-2.5k watts. thanks
  10. i was gonna go with 5 cuft gross and end up around 4.5 cu ft net. is that to much? TC audio's website doesnt have my exact sub in general on there, but from what I see with there 15's is that they like 45.-5 cu ft...idk tho, if anybody has experience with TC boxes and could chime in, thatd be nice!
  11. looking for one ohm amps, sorry the 2 ohm thing just isnt universal enough for my taste, would rather run a good amp at .5 ohm, than only having a amp that goes down to two. PM'd on the DC tho
  12. do you think it will give me better performance all around as well? or just moves more air in general? i know i need to be more specific on what I want, but im aching for a hair trick on this build while still retaining good sound.
  13. standard ported, or 4th order. if it matters, ill be working with a TC LMS-4000 15" and anywhere from 2k-3k watts.
  14. need it for a TC sounds LMS 4000, been looking at the BC2000D, or the AQ2200, let me know what you have please.
  15. midnight bump, these are still for sale at $280 (shipping is included in price).
  16. seriously, nobody has any 15's for sale? im not even caring what the rms or voice coil option is now. if you have 2 15's and are looking to part with them, post here please. obsidian, american bass, sundown, DC, AA, DD, Fi, SSA, annythhing!
  17. redoing my build for a 1999 ford ranger XLT that used to house two DD 1508s. got tired of the small cone area after hearing my first 160. my dimensions are 45 width, 25 height, 10 top depth, 15 bottom depth. im looking to work with around 2k-3k watts...dont know if a hair trick is possible with that power? I want to keep my box under the rear window so those are my max box dims. my question is, do I use these dimensions to make a box for 2-3 12's, 1-2 15's or 1 18? again, if a hair trick is impossible with my wattage and space, let me know on what you would recommend. ide rather be patient to get my hair trick, than to spend money hoping that it might be enough and reach failure. speaking of which, at about what decibel does a humans lungs struggle and hair starts to move; or can you reach high scores without moving air? im a noob here, thanks for the help.
  18. post says it, looking for around 1000 rms each sub. however, if you have something rated higher, ide still be interested because i can always upgrade. thanks. edit: i need 2 subs
