also i hear that for a 18 a good enclosure would be sub up, port facing back? thats what some people said i wouldnt know, ive never owned this kind of a system

yeah ive only had a couple 12s. i want to hear music from a different view, with an 18. i drive a small hatchback, if i had a suv id want to put a couple 18s in there

why would a 18 not be good for rap or dubstep? expecially dubstep some songs have nice heavy bass lines.

i think ive heard of that but i dont quite understand all the aspects of everything you have to put into the calculator. im not that read up, just yet, im a noobie.

ive done a lil research and i cant decide between a AA Havoc 18 and a Fi Bl 18

i have a hatchback so i have no trunk its just a back space, and then the seats go down and its all a flat surface

also another question if i run probs either 1.2k or 1,5k watts what electrical upgrades would i have to do? besides big 3? would a big batt do the job?

yeah im aware. but i have 2 measly 12s running off of only 300 watts a piece so i want to go with deep bass and probably 1.2k on it

i have 2 12s in the back right now, kenwoods with 300 each. but i want to go much bigger. i dont care about the back so if it takes up the whole thing i wouldnt mind. and this would be a long process because im going to save up for everything that has to do with the set up but for the 18 id probably stop around...400 at most perferably 300 if it can be done

hey guys i was just wondering some generic hight width and depth demensions for a ported single 18 box.i dont have all the space in the world if needed i could go sealed. but what would be some demensions for the box? im not researched enough to know if you comment what 35 hz is and 3ft^3 all that jazz. i planned on ordering a custom box online, with custom H W D and then all the custom tuned (if ported) and those other dimensions that are speciffic to the sub that i would have gotten. i think i have like 35" across in the back and a good 32 if not more inches of height. not sure i dont remember the depth yet. if needed can use up back seat (have hatchback) would you guys know if this is possible to fit a good box in this limited space? also i would like a budget subwoofer and i would like to strap anywhere from 1k to 2k watts to it and use it for daily use. any one have any decent budget 18s that they know of also let me know, thanks guys i appreciate it

and yeah like i said im just getting into car audio. i know for a fact in the trunk i got probs 36" across and probably around 30 sum inches high. idk about depth though. and i would want to use the 18 for daily use. id want one to be maybe below or above 1k watts running to it, big 3, i got a good ground and i believe 4g wire oh and do you guys know any budget batts?

i know it wont be 150 i plan on aquiring all this stuff over a period of time, and idk i would use the 18 for daily use maybe a competition or two i have a nagging friend lol

hey guys whats up, im pretty new to car audio so i would like a few questions of mine elaborated on and answered by some of you guys who know what your talking about. i just bought my first system months ago, 2 12 kenwoods and a excelon amp, and theyre great. i want to get rid of them though and go with something bigger. so i was thinking getting a 18. a budget one if one of them exists. direct me to one if aby of you guys know please. i was curious size wise, because i drive a 2012 kia rio hatch and space is limited.what would a generic H W L demensions of a single 18" box be? vented. if space is really limited i could go for a sealed. also if i go with a 18 and strap like..800-1200 watts to it how would i have to upgrade my electrical system? my lights dim already and im running on 600 watts. i plan on getting the big 3. should i get a bigger battery? and if you guys have a good sized battery on budget also if you could point it out it would be awesome, i have school and a minimum wage job. or maybe should i get a high output alt?
