  1. finished my motorcycle license and not been given permission by doctors because im an EPILEPTIC????? FUCK THAT

and they give a guy who is narcoleptic(gets in sleep mode for a couple of seconds) a full permission for a mototcycle license....fuck that too

PS:::note...been healthy for 18 years and they give me shit at the end...the narco-guy was having the last epileptic attack while we were in a class for license(that was only 3 days ago)

    WHAT THE FUCK?

    PS:::still got my moped..

You get a full medical check to get a motorcycle license??? that blows....shit I took the dumb ass little MSF course then passed the written test and walked out of the DMV to unload my bike and go for a ride.

  2. ehhh probably won't have either anyway. Maybe xbox one used one day if my brother needs a limited edition or some shit and sells me his first one cheap. He always gets the limted ed consoles and sells his regular ones. "They will be worth more later" he says....lol no they wont..in 20yrs no one is going to give a flying fuck about 360 or x1...I bet everyone will still be talking about how great Zelda Ocarina of time was and the N64 though. lol

  3. Also gonna ask you guys about some wire options. I currently have Audiopipe 1/0 CCA power wire and Big3, but I plan on buying all new 1/0 OR 2/0, depending on if I need it. First question, could I just use another 100ft of the Audiopipe for another run of pos/neg to dual inputs on my amp? Or do I need OFC?

Do OFC, and for batteries check out the Dekas I linked, they are jsut as good as much more expensive AGM's, I beleive they are actually the platinum or top line napas,,,iirc

  4. What car again?

Also the enclosure design is based off of the driver's Fs and without T/S parameters you can't design one yet.

Don't get too caught up in FS, I threw a 10$ home woofer in the same tline wayyy below its fs. I believe it was 45hz or soemthing and the tline is 28hz iirc. Still dug low and did fine unless I overpowered it. I had it on less then 20w and it could stil overpower my front stage.

I would bet FS will be low as hell on those anyway,

  5. I believe Chris was just being sarcastic about an 18th order since the highest order I know of is the 8th order. But when talking about 1/4 wave T-Line was serious. That would take quite a bit of space up, but would sound amazing.

Do you already have the alternator in your possession?

I will literally jump around like a 5yr old kid when I see a vid of someone with a X or z4 sub in a tline on good amount of power and tuned low using that mechanical travel. Would be sex.

  6. I am in no way a box designer so I hardly have any idea what the hell you're talking about Chris lol. 18th order? I didn't know those even existed...

As for you Krakin I have just been trying to get my system planned, so I have yet to actually get the alternator and batteries. But im thinking the Mechman 270A...Redtop up front and a kc800 in the trunk.

I was being a smart ass. lol jsut for that sentence alone though.

Forget the Optima battery, if you are running a Kinetik in the rear, get another for under the hood. If they don't have one that fits look on remy batteries website and find a Deka intimidator, its what I run and works great.

I would talk to singer too, jsut to explore your options. Mechman is awesome don't take that the wrong way, just singer had better CS when I was talking to the different companies trying to find an alt. He was straight forward no BS and quick with responses.

  7. Obviously I wasn't on top of the right thread.... but I'd honestly not recommend all this for OP .... inexperience can cause a lot of mayhem in itself.... I'd say go for mid - lower side to be on the side of safety with all that equipment.... That's just my opinion

those specs are not posted anywhere

edit:on sundown website or SSA where they sell them.

    http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164370-sundown-x-series-10121518-pre-order-eta-june-2013/

Scroll down a little bit and there ya - post #16 by sundownz....

Right here on the SMD forum...

he wants more lows so a larger box would be better..

Larger box = higher peak in response curve

Smaller = has a flatter curve.

Shit changes depending on every vehicle.

Just because its big doesn't mean it hits the lows or small hits the highs, thats with port tuning. Unles you get excessively small or large. For daily I would bet the OP would be happy with something on the smaller side because it would be more musical.

The subs will do fine in a big enclosure on over rated power, look at the mechanical travel they have when he tests them free air on over rated.

If the OP wants the Lows, he clearly shoudl do a 18th order reflex bandpass with quatrro ports and double coupling loading walls.

In all seriousness I would lov eto see one of those new sundowns in a 1/4 wave/Tline build with all that excursion and the fact that they can take almost rated free air without bottoming.

I was seriously contemplating it before I decided to give away my Tline, tuned to high 20's it was surprising with 1 vvx10, one of the z4 10's on around 2k would get down.
