Don't know what degree or schooling this is but you are killing it. I just finished nuclear power school for the navy. Highest grade ever in the history of enlisted students is a 3.89 I believe. Over 3.6 is honors over 3.4 is distinguished and only 2.5 needed to grad. I was so happy to maintain over a 3.0. I ended with a 3.1 overall. I'm sure your training you're doing at this point in your career is pretty intense so congrats on doing so well. Does a pay raise come with your completion? And if you don't mind me asking what's summa cum laude?

So probably 8 months until I get to a boat but I've been in a year and change already.

I was worried about taxes this year but after just finishing them all I can say is military pay ftw. We had our daughter last year and theres some federal credit that you get when you make under a certain amount. According to the federal government my wife and I are pretty much poverty line..but its because benefits aren't included. Just for taxes we should have only got 400$ back...now we get 4900$ just for having the kid. In the long run anyone with a kid knows you spend much more than that in a year on them but I find it crazy we get 4000$ more back then paid...like a free handout. Definitely not going to turn it down though. On my w-2 we only made 18000 combined.

Wife got a 70d and has been doing photos for out friends. Got it mostly to take pictures of out daughter. I took the ones with her in them. IF you dont know she is the blonde..im in my dress blues and the rest our just randoms of our friends.

Yup Squid up the freeways and give sportbikes a even worse reputation. When I was riding everyday I couldn't tell you how many of these "groups/clubs" I saw that never went anywhere but the Freeways. There are few that actually go do some legit riding and the rest wear vests and think extended swingarms are cool. But fuck do I miss my bike.
