  1. Now I insert here a copy of the subwoofer's manual but there is one strange thing: I have bought two subwoofer before and after few months the other two subwoofer, same model and they are the same item but the data in the manual are different so here you will see all two manuals. I think parameters on left are correct
  2. I don't have "preferred" dimenions but I have 80 x 95cm (31,5 x 37,4 inches) for the front "face" and for depth I can adapt to reach the optimal volume
  3. Ok, I have checked in my car and I have 12 cubes of volume free to built the box for wall. I have more than 12 cubes so I can realize a box woth 12 cubes + subwoofers + port. Could you help me in calculating dimensions of box and port? I remember I am interested in doing hair trick and, if possibile, sound loud Thank you very much!
  4. I will calculate it and I will post here dimensions available for the box... I hope in help after the dimension to calculate it and the right port
  5. So 12 cubes of volume + the volume of the 4 subwoofer right? The volume of the port was included in the 12 cubes or I have to have 12cubes + subs volume + port volume? But I can confimr that I have this space in car because I will use all space, from the back of front seats to the end of the car, for the box... but I need help for this box, for the correct volume and port to obtain hair tricks if possibile!
  6. Sorry but I don't understand... You tell I need a box of 12 cubic feet? Or I need box + 2cubic feet of volume in the car? Thank you
  7. Hi, I hope in your help for this box.. I ask you because I see really good works in this forum adn I am a newbie to calculate volume and port for box
  8. Hi community, Always here from Italy to ask your help for my project (Sorry for my not perfect english) I have 4 Soundstream Tarantula T6-15 subwoofer and 2 Soundstream X3.60 amplifier (about 5000 watt total for the subwoofers). I want to buy a wall in my car, a Citroen Saxo VTS but I have never built a bog box like that before so I really need your help. I am interested in doing hair trick but also have a "loud sound" from my subwoofer box, I hope this two things can be done by a single box! I think that having a box for hair trick don't allow me to have the loudest sound from my subwoofer but with 4 15" I think I can have loud After the explanation of my idea I write here parameters of my subwoofers copied from manual: Fs (Hz) 27,14 Qms 3,286 Vas (ft³) 3,732 Cms (mm/N) 0,117 Mms (g) 297,5 Xmax (mm) 20 Xmech (mm) 30 Piston diameter (in) 12,48 Sd (in²) 123,8 Qes 1,115 Re (Ω) 6,66 Z (Ω) 8 BL 17,15 Rms power (watts) 1000 Qts 0,832 NO (%) 0,185 1w/1m SPL (db) 84,68 Voice Coil diameter (in) 2,5" Impedance (Ω) DVC 4Ω M-vd (ft³) 0,242 Overall diameter (in) 15,5" Overall Height (in) 9,25" Mounting depth (in) 8" Cutout diameter (in) 13,875" Flange Width (in) 1" Flange Height (in) 75" <---- I don't know what is this but I think that 75 inches are a really big number for a subwoofer parameter! maybe an error. Weight (lbs) 27 Thank you for your help!!!
  9. Thank you for your pics I am building my doors and they are really similar! Have you "filled" doors with some foam, absorbent or other things? Thank you
  10. Thank you for all your informations! Sorry if I don't understand everything but as I said, I don't speak ensligh very well: I have to ask you again but I'll try to explain better... ok, you have custom fiberglass doors and I am building them for my car... but "behind" the fibergalss panel on your door where I see speakers, all speakers have an enclosure? Because I don't understand if you have simply built your custom door and "put" on it speakers or if you created special enclosure in the rear of the door for every speaker. Thank you very much and I am curious about pics (also pic of the "creation" of these doors so I can "spy" the construction ^^ ).
  11. Thank you for you reply. Have you installed them in your door? With a "close space" behind 6,5" or not? Is possible to have some pics of them? And crossed at 200hz are they clear also inside your car with close doors? Thank you!
  12. Hi, I need help with speakers of Soundstream Pro Audio series (link here: http://www.soundstream.com/AudioProducts/Speakers_Tweeters/pro_series.htm Sorry for my not perfect english but I am Italian and I don't speak english perfectly I am building my custom doors and I have to put in each door: 2 x SST-22 2 x SM16-94 1 x SST-104 I have amplifiers to give enough power to them (all Soundstream Tarantula Series): -TX2.350 175x2 at 2Ohm, use it for 4 SST-22 -TX4.560 100x4 at 4Ohm, use it for 4 SM16-94 -TX4.400 220x2 at 4Ohm bridged, use it for 2 SST-104 I have also an electronic crossover Soundstream X05-pro: http://www.carentertainmentgeek.com/2011/08/soundstream-x05-pro-processors-spectrum.html Now, what do you think of this speakers? Are they loud and clean? And I ask you if you can tell me what frequences "set" on every speakers with my crossover to have them sound loud but clean. Sorry, I am a newbie with "loud front" and I am really interested in create a loud one Last question: I have read on the website of the italian Soundstream dealer that they suggest to install midrange SM16-94 in a "close space" of about 2 liters fileld with acrylic absorbent (I hope last two words are correct because I use a translator). Do you think I really to create a close space in the rear of my custom door? Because I don't want to create close spaces but fill my custom door (when installed on car) with acoustic absorbent and, fill my car (door, roof, etc) with dynamat extreme. Thank you for your help, you are really a great community
  13. If you register and access with your data in the website you will see under "You pay" 565$. Try to register, it's really fast. I see that it's a really good price but I would know if someone bought here before just to know if it's a good shop. Thank you very much and sorry for my "italian" english
